The per semester fee at the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) is INR . 67750/ (as per 2025). This includes Admission Processing fee: Rs.2000/- (one time- non refundable ), Tuition Fee Rs.52000/- Per Semester,  Library Fee Rs.5000/- per annum,  Insurance Fee Rs.1,250/- per annum,

Yes, there is reservation of seats for specific categories in NIIFT. For instance, 85% of seats will be reserved for Punjab domicile candidates. Outside Punjab candidates will be considered for remaining 15% seats.

If there are vacant seats left after the 2nd round of counseling, such seats will be converted to general category. These seats will be filled in the 3rd round of counseling.

Yes, the counseling for 85% of seats for Punjab residence and 15% of seats for outside the Punjab will be conducted at the same time.However, reserved category candidates will be considered in General Category first before being considered in respective category.

The NIIFT counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds. Note that candidates who is not allotted a seat in the earlier rounds, will be considered in subsequent rounds

The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) Mohali campus has an intake of 30 seats. Admission to these programs will be based on NIIFT merit rank.

The Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT) as an intake capacity of 150 seats for the B.Des in Fashion Design program. Both Mohali and Ludhinana has 60 seats each, while Jalandhar has 30 seats.

The NIIFT Exam will be conducted for admission to the B.Des, B.Sc, M.Des, and MSc courses offered by the Northern India Institute of Fashion Technology (NIIFT). 

The application form for NIIFT 2025 is open from Janaury 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for their programme can apply. The last date to fill out the form is August 14, 2025.
