IIAD DAT Application Form 2024 (OPEN): Register HERE, Step-wise Process, Fees, Eligibility

A. The application form for IIAD 2024 is currently OPEN. The application is for admission to design courses offered by the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD). The application has to be filled by candidates who meet the program-wise eligibility criteria.

A. The online application form for IIAD 2024 is now open; the deadline to fill out the application form hasn't been announced yet. Interested candidates need to duly fill and submit their applications before the last date. The candidate has to fill out the application form following the link on the admission portal of the institute. 

A. The IIAD 2024 entrance test is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD).

• UG courses: BA. (Hons) in Fashion Design/ Communication Design/ Interior Architecture Design and B.A. (Hons) in Fashion Business Management
• PG courses: MA in Fashion Design and MA in Fashion Business Management 

A. The application fee is INR 2,500 (which is the same for all categories). The fee once paid is not refunded; so candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are recommended to go ahead and fill out the online application form. 

A. For the undergraduate courses, the candidate needs to have passed the 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized institute. Those appearing in the 10+2 exam in the current academic yearor awaiting results may also apply. Any candidate faking their eligibility criteria may be disqualfiied if caught. Note that during IICD couseling 2024, document verfication will be conducted.

A. The  Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) will conduct the IIAD 2024 exam in December/ January 2024 (Online/ On Campus). Candidates will be given the option to appear in the exam in online or on-campus mode; the option has to be selected at the time of filling out the IIAD 2024 application form.

A. The question paper will include questions from Logical Reasoning and Creative Thinking & Visual Aptitude sections. The candidate will be given 30 minutes to complete the Logical Reasoning section, while for the Creative Thinking & Visual Aptitude section, the candidate will be given 2 hours.

A. IIAD 2024 exam will be conducted for admission to BA (Hons) Fashion Design, BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design, BA (Hons) Communication Design, BA (Hons) Fashion Business Management, and BA (Hons) Fashion Communication courses.

A. Yes, candidates seeking admission to design courses at the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) need to appear in the IIAD entrance exam. Qualifying exam scores will only be used as a qualifying criteria, and not for preparing the IIAD 2024 merit list. Further, the Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) doesn't accept scores of other exams.

A. Yes, lateral entry is also available for eligible candidates. Under this scheme, the candidate will be selected based on their performance in the personal interview and portfolio. Candidaes seeking admission under lateral entery scheme needs to go through the eligibility criteria for the same, as it is different from the entrance-exam (or regular) route. 

A. The application form for IICD 2024 is now open. To fill in the application form, the candidate has to follow these steps:

1. Get registered - The candidate has to get registered by entering details like email id, mobile number, and other details.
2. Fill in the form - Upon registration, log-in to fill in the rest of the application form, including personal, academic, contact details. 
3. Upload documents - Photograph and signature have to be uploaded as per the given format.
4. Pay the application fees - The exam fees is INR 2500.
