Nowgong College (A) upgraded to Nagaon University is a very fine institute.

Placements: There are 56 students in our course which I am currently pursuing i.e. B.Honours in English and currently we are in FYUGP 4th semester. There are sufficient staff facilities available in our department which they provide with accommodations way of skill and teaching with a great experience which make us understand very easy for the students. As per my department records, most of our passed-out seniors have got placements or internships in many universities which makes them a great opportunity for their higher studies.

Infrastructure: As a student of Nowgong College, I would to thank the department and authorities for giving us knowledge of very specific ways of teaching and other methods of teaching equipment such as wall projectors, and LED screen televisions which make it easy to understand. The infrastructure of the college/department is very clean and tidy with stipulations of discipline and the environment of the compound is very peaceful and mesmerising also the whole boundary is installed with CCTV cameras surveillance which keeps the students safe, especially for the girls students. The institute with provide with hostel for both girls/boys.

Faculty: As Nowgong College has now upgraded to a university, there are sufficient teaching and nonteaching staff in different departments with excellent qualifications and knowledge, and their teaching skills are very accessible. As a university all the semester examinations are conducted by the university itself and as per experience the semester examinations are not very difficult it just depends on your studies and as per the institute records most of the pass percentage is around or above 95-98%

Other: I am currently pursuing my course in English as an honors subject because I want to join in teaching in the future as a literature lecturer and I like to study literature subjects which is very interesting. As per my weak point, I would like to improve my way of writing skills and reasoning which I am currently weak in. As per the ongoing department policy, our departments used to organize every literary event and inclusion of Freshmen for the newcomer's juniors and also the farewell ceremony for the forbidden seniors.

A short discussion about Nowgong College Autonomous.

Placements: In our English major course, 20 out of 50 students get placed in top MNCs with a good package ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. The highest package is about 17 LPA, and the lowest is 1.2 LPA so far. Companies like Duolingo and others recruit students. Around 67% of students get placed every year.

Infrastructure: Facilities are amazing. The library is beautifully decorated with a huge amount of books and novels. The water supply and toilets are basic but decent. You can easily access everything nearby, like a book stall, printing shop, stationery, etc.

Faculty: Teachers and facilities are very helpful and humble. They provide guidance and proper plans, and they are very connected and active with students and support. The semester exams are held after the completion of every unit, and they are not that difficult, but they are decent ones.

Other: I chose the English course in this college due to my interest in literature and novels. Although this course also helps in various fields like APS and UPSC examinations.

Top-notch College, Excel in placements: Launching Graduates into Successful Careers.

Placements: 1. 60 to 70 percent were placed in our course. 2. The highest average package was 6 LPA and the lowest was around 2-3 LPA. 3. Top recruiting companies were like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. 4. 75 percent of students got internships from our course. 5. The top roles offered by our college were mostly professor and lecturer.

Infrastructure: Our college boasts modern academic facilities including well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and a comprehensive library. Its recreational amenities feature sports complexes, fitness centers, and outdoor recreational areas. Residential options include comfortable dormitories and dining facilities. Student support services encompass counseling, career guidance, and health services. Advanced technology facilities provide access to computer centers and campus-wide Wi-Fi. Administrative offices offer assistance with admissions, registration, and financial aid. In our Nowgong hostel, facilities are comfortable with communal space. The mess and canteen serve nutritious, hygienic meals. Medical facilities are accessible, and sports amenities encourage physical activity and recreation.

Faculty: The teachers here are well qualified and have very good knowledge, they are very knowledgeable. The quality of the teachers here is very fine and premium. Yes, this course curriculum is very relevant. And yes, of course, it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams here are quite hard and it is good for quality education and knowledge.

Other: I did choose this course because I want to become a professor, and I want to teach the younger generation as teaching is a part of my hobby. There is no any complaint in this course.
