NSHM College Durgapur: A leading hub for professional and technical education.

Placements: Placements are average. Companies visit the college every 6 months and we can apply if we are in 1st year also. In sports management, internships are provided every month and by attending internship sports students can gain knowledge more. Students get internships in Cricket Stadium for international matches also. I also worked in a recent match of India vs England.

Infrastructure: Facilities are not that good but we get clean and hygienic rooms every day. We also get a Wi-Fi connection. Hostel students get a canteen card and a gym card. Labs are more advanced for B.Tech students which helps them to perform well in their work. The library is full of books which helps students sit, read, and gain more.

Faculty: Semester examinations are not that much difficult. Teachers help students by giving exact and related questions which comes in the semester examination. They provide the best notes. Faculty members are so much educated and our director sir is very humble with students.

Other: I chose this course to go ahead more in sports field and gain knowledge about the backbones of a sports event.

Placements: The placements are good. Lots of students get placed after finishing their courses. The faculty members are really good and very helpful. Previous batch students got placed, but some students are still waiting for placements. We hope all the students got good placements.

Infrastructure: The course is good. After doing this course, students get many opportunities to work. Hostel facilities are very good. Everything is good. We need this type of atmosphere in a college. The college is good. The teachers are good.

Faculty: Every teacher is very helpful. They give us lots of knowledge so that we can easily improve ourselves. The college is good. We had a good experience in our college. All the students are good on this campus. The campus is huge, and many courses are offered in this college.

Other: Everything is good here. Events, campus, and crowd are good. We love our college.

The campus is good in this college.

Placements: Placements in our course are very good. Most of the students get placements. The lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Many of the students get internships in our course even I also get a chance for internships, but I can not go because of some personal issue.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good, well-maintained classroom with a smartboard. Laboratories are also well maintained. The library facility is very good. Wi-Fi facility is there on the whole campus. The hostel is clean. Food quality is also good, and the canteen is very hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers for this course are very helpful and they knew well about this course. This course makes the students industry-ready. The teaching quality is very satisfying. Semesters are not difficult if students study. Most of the students pass this course.

Other: I opted for this course, because it is a new course and very good at placements. Most of the students get placements, and this is a growing field in India.

I am somewhat satisfied with this college.

Placements: We were about to get an internship in the 5th semester, but minimum help was provided. For the summer internship project, we are asked to find the organisation for an internship on our own. In the 6th semester, we are about to get placements, but only a few seniors get placed here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for sports is available, but it is hardly maintained. Students who participate in intercollegiate matches have to pay their own expenses. Hostel and canteen facilities are good and well-maintained. Gym and sports equipment need replacements.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, supportive, and knowledgeable. Management professors are helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the subject. Sports professors are currently unavailable on our campus. But we had 2-3 professors in the past who were just awesome.

Other: I got a 100% scholarship. Events keep on happening in the college. If you are active enough, then you will get information and can participate in each of them.

The college is good for hotel management and BBA, and the campus is great.

Placements: I didn't get placed yet. I am in my final year. Our seniors got placed in decent companies. Our principal really puts a lot of effort for our placements. Almost all of the seniors got placed. The packages might be a little less compared to other streams.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is great. The campus is huge. The sports ground includes a basketball court, a lawn tennis court and a big field mainly for football. The hostel environment is great. There is a canteen and a cafeteria.

Faculty: The teachers in our stream (sports management) are an issue. There were some great teachers in the first year, but most of them left the college. Online classes also made it difficult to get to know the new faculty.
