Review of JIS University, Agarpara campus.

Placements: About 70% of students get placement. The maximum is 4Lpa, the minimum is 1.5Lpa, and the average is 2.5Lpa. 60–70% of students get internships at many companies. Roles depend upon the major course you choose in your 3rd year. Fields like finance, HR, and marketing.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-maintained and very good. We get smart boards, AC Wi-Fi, and modern tables in college, and in hotels we get high-speed Wi-Fi and every important piece of furniture! We have a hall area where students can play games, and there is also a club area where students can hang out with friends.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they are all highly qualified, and all teachers were well qualified. Every teacher is from a good college and has at least 5 years of experience. This is a professional course, and it is a management course that prepares a student for industry. Exams are very difficult at this college.

It is the best college in town in terms of faculty and placements.

Placements: Even after completing an MBA the salary is 45k per month out of state. After BBA the salary ranges from 12k to 15k per month. The recruiters are from TCS, Infosys and Cognizant. The roles encompass HR, sales, finance and marketing. An internship is not provided and is unpaid. You can pursue an off-campus internship.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are equipped with AC. The library stocks all necessary books. Security is tight in the hostel. The food provided is quite good. Medical support is available. Clubs exist for sports and cultural activities. The campus is expansive with a pond and the building spans 13 floors offering a view of the town.

Faculty: Professors are qualified, helpful, and cover the syllabus before exams. They offer suggestions beforehand. The course curriculum is up-to-date. Students receive industrial exposure. Field trips are organized to provide real-world experience. Semester exams are challenging, although the questions are standard. The pass rate is 30%.

I am satisfied with everything this university has offered me.

Placements: Around 46% of the students who were perusing the same course as me were placed in many multi-national companies. The highest package offered was around 25LPA and the lowest was around 2LPA. Some of the companies which comes frequently and recruits a huge number of students are Amazon, Flipkart, JustDial, Mess, Clipa, ICICI Bank. Around 40% of the students got into a internship programme in some of the companies like ICICI, Bandhan bank. Some of the post offered are of Branch Manager, Human Resource Manager, Event Manager.

Infrastructure: Our campus is very good in respect of facilities and infrastructure like we got a really big library filled with about 4 Lac books and we also have a book bank so we don't have to buy any books from outside. And we got Wi-Fi in the campus and we got big classrooms and the laboratories are kept UpToDate and well maintained. We also got a gym and a big playground and volleyball court. The canteen serves good hygienic food but I prefer eating outside to change the taste of my palates.

Faculty: We got great professors who are having multiple Ph.Ds and some are currently doing their Ph.D. in our university. They are really knowledgeable and very friendly. They teaches us with love and dedication. Yes the things taught are industry requirement and it more or less makes the student ready for facing the interviewers. The semesters are not that difficult almost everyone passes.

Other: I chose this course as I dream is to be a CEO of a company. The best thing about this course gives us many job opportunities like branch manager, HR which will help me in gaining great experience. I wish there were industry visits from our university. We have many cultural programs like dancing, Singing and other sketch photography competitions. They also organizes JIS saman awards.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Few education and organisations visit the campus for placements. Placement opportunities are good. If you have potential, then you can get placed. It also provides internship opportunities, and you can be a part of the internship program. Software and marketing-based job opportunities are offered here.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good in our college. It has good and well-spaced labs, classrooms and a library. There is a bit of connectivity problem in our college. Wi-Fi facility is available on the whole campus. Labs are modern and well-equipped. Classrooms are decent in our college. The library is also available for each stream.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified. They all are PhD holders or pursuing a Ph.D. in their respective fields. The teaching quality of some teachers is awesome. They are friendly and helpful. The course curriculum is relevant.

Placements: JIS University offers placements that are supported by its central training and placements cell. The recruiters who have been consistent over the last few years are Flipkart, ICICI Bank, Bandhan Bank, Cipla, and Just Dial. University also has an active training and placements cell.

Infrastructure: Library is an integral part of the learning hub and has a collection of over 3,26,000 books and around 5000 journals including e-journals. Library subscribes to Delnet services and is a source of learning, and also provides books to learn more about the curriculum activities and also get the knowledge.

Faculty: All the teachers are very skilled in their field. They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They always encourage students. They teach students with extra care. This course curriculum is relevant and has broad prospects in both academics and industries. Semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is 100%.

Active placement cell, amazing facilities and supportive faculty.

Placements: Being a student in the first year at JIS University, I don't know much about our placement programme. But I have heard from our seniors that our university students got jobs in MNC all over India. We have individual placement cell in our JIS University.

Infrastructure: We have neat and clean classrooms for studying. Other than that we have 5 seminar rooms, 1 library, 1 Gym, and 2 Computer Lab, and 1 auditorium. Each seminar room has its own Wi-Fi facility. We have a playground as well as a pond outside our university building. In our campus, we have a canteen and the food quality of the canteen is good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful, supportive. They guide us to the right way of studying. They make us capable to crack any kind of job Interview. During the class, we can freely talk with them to clear our doubts.

Other: In a year we have an individual cultural programme, other than studies. Our university gives us an opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities like photography competition, dancing and singing competition and many other competitions as well.

Our college is the best place for education .

Placements: Maximum students get a chance to get placed. Every Friday presentation is held by our teachers and even eminent people are also present. In our university, the best internships are offered. Best company recruit management students. I think management studies are the best.

Infrastructure: In our university, digital classes are held by faculty members and hostel quality is better. We have a playground and badminton court in our girls' hostel, and also there is a playground on the university campus. Our hostel campus has a beautiful flower garden. In the hostel, the food served is healthy.

Faculty: The way our faculty members teach is the best. They are very friendly with the students. Even if you have any problem they try to solve it.

Other: I opted for this course because there is a big scope to build a better career. Every year fest and freshers are organised by our respected teachers and senior. Many programs are held in our university auditorium. Singing, dancing, different types of games are also organised.

The college and curriculum makes the students industry ready

Placements: 30 students are there in my batch. The highest salary offered was 35000 per month and the lowest was 15000, 20 students got internship. Flipkart, Amazon were the top recruiting companies. Marketing Head was the top role offered in my course. As per my view, the university is making students job ready.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is under construction but the facilities provided by the university is very good they are providing Wi-Fi in the classroom, laboratories and smart classes for betterment of the student. Mess provided by the university is very good and the food quality is ok, as for the sports facilities universities provides a gym and a playground.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, they are having a good qualification. They are very knowledgeable and their explaining skills are awesome as they use real life examples while teaching. Yes they are making the students industry ready. Helping the student by providing them the knowledge about industries. And what are the jobs provided to the them.
