A number of graduates also prepare for government service exams, banking, and research-related opportunities. While campus hiring is not very frequent for Maths, there are occasional visits from private schools, coaching institutes, and IT-related firms that prefer analytical skills.
Infrastructure: The college has a simple yet functional setup. Buildings are moderately spacious with proper ventilation and natural light. Classrooms are well-arranged, and the seating is comfortable for long hours. Laboratories for Mathematics and Computer applications are adequately equipped, though a few modern upgrades could make them even better. The library is one of the strongest points of the campus, offering a variety of reference books, journals, and study materials. I'm satisfied with the college.
Placements: There is no campus placement in our course. Usually, students are preferred for higher studies and teaching jobs. However, there are other options, such as data analyst, statistical officer, economist, and so on. Teachers in our college are helpful in getting recruited by top companies.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms have a good ambience and vibe. Labs are offered with respective courses, and there is also a good collection of fictional and non-fictional books. The canteen is associated with the college and provides neat and tasty food at an affordable price. There are no medical facilities associated with the college, but there is a nearby hospital. Sports such as cricket, basketball, volleyball, etc. You need to have good training.
Faculty: There are regular examinations and assessments for each and every subject in college. But university exams are commencing a little bit late. More than 80% of students are passed from college every year. The aid given by our teachers is helpful to get through competitive exams like JET NET, GATE etc.
Other: The campus surroundings are good and green. Events such as Arts Day, Sports Day, College Day, Holi, Freshers Day, Film Fest etc. have been taken in an excellent manner.

Average college with poor placements and outdated facilities. It needs major improvements.
Placements: Placements in our college are very limited for B.Sc. Mathematics. Hardly any reputed companies visit for recruitment, and most students have to either prepare for higher studies like M.Sc. or write competitive exams. There is almost no structured placement training or guidance provided. The average package is not relevant for our course as most students don't get direct jobs from the campus. This is one of the biggest drawbacks of the college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not up to the mark. Classrooms and labs are outdated and need renovation. Wi-Fi is not consistently available, and library facilities could be much better. Hostel rooms are average, and food quality in the canteen and mess is often poor. Sports facilities are very basic. There is a lack of proper medical support. Overall, the infrastructure feels neglected compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, but the teaching methods are very traditional. There is very little use of modern teaching tools or practical exposure. The curriculum is not industry-oriented and does not prepare students for real-world challenges. Exams are moderately difficult, but the focus is more on written learning than application. Pass percentage is decent, but overall, the learning experience feels outdated.
Other: I chose mathematics because of my genuine interest. But the overall college experience has been disappointing. Campus environment is dull with very few extracurricular activities or cultural events. There is hardly any industry exposure, workshops, or seminars to improve skills. Connectivity to the college is average, and the surroundings lack a lively campus atmosphere. I wish the management focused more on students' development, skill-building, and better facilities. With improvements, the college could do much better.

It provides quality and top-notch education, but somewhat lacks in facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: I joined in 2018 in B.Sc mathematics, and my final year exams are going to start. There is a lot of courses in science, arts and commerce in our college. There are roughly 40 students in our class. There are no companies now to offer jobs because there are non-job-oriented courses. Our college offers a master's degree in courses, but in a master's course, there are roughly 10 students. Only some courses have a master's degree in college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility in any department. Labs are available for all lab courses. I am studying mathematics, so there are no labs for this course. Classrooms are neat and spacious, and there are no issues with seating arrangements. There is a hostel, but it's destroyed. None of the students stays in the hostel anymore. Very less percentage of students come from far locations to study in our college, so the hostel is not needed. The quality of the food available in the canteen is good and pocket friendly. There are no issues in the food section in our college. Volleyball and cricket teams are available. Students who are good at both these games get a lot of support from the college management.
Faculty: The teaching quality is top-notch because NSS college is in the top 5 government degree colleges in the district. Teachers here are friendly and supportive to students, and students can be industry-ready with the education provided here. The course curriculum is highly accepted, and a vast number of students study in the university. Students are industry-ready in their relevant fields.
Other: As it's a government college, we only pay a tuition fee of Rs. 2,000 per month and exam fees. If you get a scholarship, the fee doesn't matter.
