Pearl Academy New Delhi Course Admissions 2025: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

Admission to Pearl Academy is a multi-step process. Aspirants are required to take the institute-level entrance exam for selection. For certificate courses, aspirants have to go through interview round. Check below the steps for admission:

• Application: The mode of application is online as well as offline. Aspirants can also apply through offline mode by purchasing a hard copy of the application form from the Pearl Academy campuses and making a payment of INR 1,500.
• Selection rounds: Candidates are shortlisted for UG and PG courses is based on PAF (GPT + DAT) followed by personal interview and portfolio presentation. 
• Admission confirmation: After completing the selection rounds, aspirants need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the academy.

Pearl Academy Rajouri Garden offers a BDes, MDes, and other professional certificate courses in Fashion, Design, Animation, Journalism, and Creative practices. BDes is offered for duration of four years. In addition, MDes is a two-year course available to candidates after completing graduation. Professional Certificate is offered in Styling for Interiors, Fashion & Celebrity Makeup, Personal Styling & Image Consultancy and Fashion Design for Women Wear. 

Pearl Academy 2024 exam for the January Cycle was conducted on January 27-28, 2024. The entrance exam dates for the April session are out. Last date to apply is Apr 20. The entrance exam for April session is scheduled from Apr 23 to Apr 24.

The selection to BDes courses is based on Pearl Academy Entrance Exam that, includes GPT- General Proficiency Test and DAT- Design Aptitude Test. The entrance exam is followed by a personal interview round and portfolio presentation. GPT evaluates a candidate's proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. Additionally, DAT exam evaluates a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills. The shortlisted aspirants are called for document verification for final selection.

Yes, candidates who have completed Class 12 are eligible to apply for the UG Diploma courses. Admission to the course is based on entrance exam conducted by the university. Pearl Academy Entrance Exam is an online/ offline test conducted for a duration of 90 minutes. General Proficiency Test (GPT) evaluates a candidate's proficiency in the English language, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.  Design Aptitude Test (DAT) evaluates a candidates' aptitude for creativity, drawing, design ability, power of observation and imagination, sensitivity to environment and communication skills. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the academy.

The academy provides 'Who's Next Scholarship' to meritorious students. This is a merit-based scholarship. Applicants will be offered the Who’s Next Scholarship based on their performance in the Pearl Entrance Exam which includes written exam, personal interview, and portfolio showcase. Pearl Academy applicants of academic year 2023 are eligible for the Who’s Next Scholarship. Applicants are not required to apply for the Scholarship separately. All students who have applied for admission to UG & PG courses, have taken the Pearl Academy entrance examination, and have met the following stated criteria shall be eligible for consideration for this scholarship. Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Should have qualified Pearl Academy Entrance Exam
• Should have completed Class 12 by July 2023
• Should be resident of India

Scholarship waives payment of tuition fees for the entire duration of the course. However, the scholarship will only be continued in the subsequent years subject to the student/ awardee maintaining prescribed standards of achievement .
