PGIMER Nursing 2026 News & Notifications

The PGIMER nursing merit list shows the names of all those candidates who have qualified for participating in the counselling process. In case your name did not appear in the merit list, then you might not be eligible for further processes. However, candidates can log in to the PGIMER admission port

The PGIMER nursing rank card will be released on the official website of the conducting body, pgimer.edu.in. Candidates will be able to download it from the admission portal by providing their login details. Take a print of the scorecard, which will be available in PDF format.  

The PGIMER Nursing counselling result will be released online at the official website, pgimer.edu.in. The results for each round of counselling will be released separately in a PDF document. 

The PGIMER nursing counselling participation fee is INR 5000/- + INR 850/- for the BSc (4-year course), and the same is the fee for the Post-basic course for participation. 

The PGIMER Nursing open round of counselling will be conducted in the auditorium of the National Institute of Nursing Education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh. Initially,  document verification will be done before allotting the seats. 

Documents such as PGIMER nursing admit card, Birth Certificate, Class 10th and 12th marksheet, caste certificate, and disability proof, etc., are mandatory to be presented as proof of verification at the time of PGIMER nursing counselling. 

No, if you have participated in the PGIMER nursing Round 1 counselling, you will not be able to participate in round-2 counselling. Only those candidates will be able to carry forward the counselling process who did not wish to accept the seat offered in round-1.

Candidates interested in applying for the PGIMER nursing programme belonging to the General category must have scored above 97.7319 marks in the exam to be eligible for applying to the institute. 

PGIMER Chandigarh charges an admission fee of INR 2200/- for the entire course for 4-year duration. In the first year, a fee of INR 800/- is charged from the admission seekers.
