Indian Army Nursing 2026 dates will be released along with official brochure.  Exam is expected to be held in October 2026. Application dates will be released tentatively in July 2026. Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026: Chronology of Events

Important dates forIndian Army Nursing dates include timeline of each events so that students can plan things in advance. The first step of the admission process is filling out the application forms for participation. Candidates who fill out the MNS registration form will be eligible to appear for ToGIGE (written test) and PAT. 

It is expected that the MNS application forms will be released in July 2026 on official website. The personal interview will also be conducted within a week. Students are advised to check their eligibility before applying for the MNS selection process. If any student fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the DGMS, their candidature will be rejected.

Interestingly, those candidates who pass the interview and the medical fitness test will be provided the admission offer letter on the day of the interview itself. They will have to join the classes immediately. The screening process will be conducted for all India candidates in the Delhi campus only.

Q:   What are the counselling dates for the Indian Army BSc Nursing programme?

The counselling schedule for the Indian Army BSc Nursing will not be conducted. After the NEET result is declared, shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview and medical examination. Based on the performance of a candidate in all the rounds, including a written exam, personal interview, and a medical examination, a final merit list will be prepared. Shortlisted candidates will get admission to their respective choice of college. 

Q:   When will the result of Indian Army BSc Nursing programme be released?

The MNS result will be released in the form of a merit list. Applicants must check the merit list to appear for the interview. Admission to the BSc nursing programme is granted at the Delhi campus only.

  1. Age Limit: 17 years is the minimum age limit for this programme
  2. Who can apply: Only unmarried Indian female candidates can apply
  3. Who cannot apply: Male candidates cannot apply
  4. Educational Qualification: 10+2 (PCB + English with minimum 50 per cent)

What is Indian Army BSc Nursing 2026 ToGIGE?

The Indian Army BSc Nursing Dates 2026 ToGIGE is basically a screening test that is conducted in online mode. It is also known as the Test of General Intelligence and General English. The exam will be conducted for a duration of 30 minutes and will carry 40 questions. There will also be negative marking for attempting the questions incorrectly. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for the BSc nursing programme. Questions pertaining to General English, such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, and General Intelligence, such as Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagrams, Spatial Reasoning, and Critical Thinking type questions will be asked in the exam.

DGMS has not yet announced the schedule for the ToGIGE and PAT entrance. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the NEET 2025 entrance exam in order to participate in further rounds. Indian Army BSc nursing 2025 entrance exam will be held for screening the highly deserving candidates for the BSc nursing programme. Only female candidates are eligible to appear for the entrance test. 

Q:   When will DGMS conduct medical examination of the shortlisted candidates of Indian Army BSc nursing programme?

The  Indian Army BSc nursing medical examination is the last step of the selection process. After the interview round, candidates will have to undergo the medical examination on the same day at the designated center. Candidates who appear for the ToGIGE and PAT will be issued the Indian Army BSc nursing result in the form of a merit list on the official website of DGMS. The MNS admission process is all about the selection of candidates to the BSc nursing programme offered by the Indian Army. Those aspirants who clear the test mentioned above will have to appear for the interview and medical fitness test. In case they clear both these levels, then he/she will be extended the offer letter to join the course after paying the pre-decided admission and course fee.

Q:   Do I have to appear for NEET UG exam to apply for Indian Army BSc Nursing exam?

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for the NEET UG exam to apply for the India Army BSc Nursing selection test. The score of NEET UG is mandatory from 2022 onwards as per the norms of DGMS. There is no seperate exam to apply for the MNS services. Candidates who clear the NEET UG cutoff will thereafter appear for a psychological aptitute test conducted by India Army for admission to military nursing services. Candidates will also have to appear for a personal interview along with a medical fitness test to seek admission in MNS. 

Q:   When can I expect the release of Indian Army BSc Nursing admit card?

The official date for the release of Indian Army BSc Nursing admit card is not issued after the exam conducting body has started accepting the NEET UG scores. On the contrary, for admission to the MNS, a general aptitude test and an psychological aptitude test will be conducted to screen the candidates for admission.

ToGIGE is a moderately difficult aptitude test that is held by DGMS for entry to MNS courses. Candidates can prepare for ToGIGE through the reference books available online to appear for the Indian Army BSc nursing exam. It is a mandatory screening test.
