PGIMER BSc Nursing Result 2026: Check Score, Rank & Download Provisional Merit List PDF

No, PGIMER Chandigarh conducts a separate entrance exam for granting admission to its BSc nursing program. Candidates cannot apply for admission via NEET Scores only. It is mandatory to appear for the PGIMER BSc nursing entrance exam.  

There are fewer than 100 seats for admission to the PGIMER BSc nursing course. Around 93 seats are available for admission to the prestigious nursing institute. 

PGIMER BSc Nursing score will be based on the total marks scored by the candidate across all the sections. There will be five sections in the PGIMER BSc Nursing question paper for the BSc (Hons) programme. These are the weightage: Physics (20 marks), Logical & Quantitative Reasoning (10 marks), Chemistry (20 marks), Biology (40 marks), English & Comprehension (10 marks).

PGIMER Chandigarh, the organizing body of the entrance exam, will release the Cutoff list after the announcement of the result. The applicants who will be able to score the qualifying marks as per the cutoff will be considered qualified. The qualifying status of the candidates will be mentioned on the PGIMER BSc Nursing result.

Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, will announce the PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 result on its official website. Applicants will have to visit the official website and have to click on the ‘PGIMER BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2026 Result’ in the important news/notice section on the homepage. After clicking on the tab, the applicants will be redirected to the login page, enter the user ID and password along with the captcha provided to access their result.

Applicants who appear in the PGIMER BSc Nursing exam and qualify for it will be able to check their names in the merit list. The PGIMER BSc Nursing 2026 result/scorecard will comprise details such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, parents’ names, category, nationality, marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, total marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, and PGIMER BSc Nursing cutoff score.

The PGIMER nursing final answer key will not be released as there is NO provisional answer key. The conducting body does not have any provision to share the answer key through the official source. 

There are a total of 62 seats in the PGIMER BSc nursing (Hons.) programme. General category candidates have 22 seats, SC category candidates have 07 seats, ST category candidates have 04 seats, OBC category candidates have 14 seats, and PwBD category candidates have 03 seats in all. Candidates having Color blindness are eligible provided that their color blindness can be corrected with contact lens and spectacles worn by such candidates. So, the number of seats mentioned for Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) will be adjusted against the category to which he / she belongs.

The PGIMER nursing rank card will be released on the official website of the conducting body, pgimer.edu.in. Candidates will be able to download it from the admission portal by providing their login details. Take a print of the scorecard, which will be available in PDF format.  

The PGIMER nursing merit list shows the names of all those candidates who have qualified for participating in the counselling process. In case your name did not appear in the merit list, then you might not be eligible for further processes. However, candidates can log in to the PGIMER admission portal to download their scorecard.
