PR Engineering College is a really good college.

Placements: PR Engineering College has good placement records, with almost 80-90% of students placed in core companies like TVS, Yamaha, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Hyundai, Ola, TCS, Zoho, and others. Students in the 7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus interviews. The highest salary package is 9 LPA, while the lowest is 1.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: PR Engineering College features spacious classrooms and has the largest library and laboratory facilities. The college also has an auditorium. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, and the hostel mess food is hygienic. However, sports ground facilities and medical facilities are limited.

Faculty: The college offers more than 15 courses, with well-designed staff members. Most teachers hold master's degrees and Ph.D. qualifications, enabling them to teach students effectively. About 95% of students pass all exams, and model exams are conducted every month. The college arranges industry visit programs and workshop events each semester. The mechanical department staff, in particular, are very friendly.

Other: PR Engineering College provides good transportation facilities and has high security, with CCTV cameras covering the full campus. Free Wi-Fi is also available. It is a good college and provides good placements.

Placements: Our college provided good placements every year. India's most reputed companies like TVS, HCL, TCS, etc., visited our college to recruit students. The salary offered was Rs.15,000 to 1 LPM.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was beautiful. Our campus was fully enabled with free Wi-Fi and CCTV facilities. Many laboratories and a library were available. Hostel was cleanly maintained. Food served in the mess was tasty and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were experienced and taught students very well. They conducted many practical classes so that students easily understand the lessons. All the students passed university exams.

Other: Many sports grounds were available in our college. Many scholarships and fee concessions were provided to all students based on their semester marks. Extracurricular activities were held in our college. Our college was located in the Thanjavur district.

This is the worst institution you can ever select.

Placements: If you are in mechanical engineering here, you might get placed in a carburettor manufacturing company without any proper interview, just for the sake of the company. You have to work 8 hours a day, standing which causes health issues.

Infrastructure: The hostel is clean. The canteen is unhygienic with wasp nets all over the place. The only thing good food you can eat here is the egg puffs. All other foods are bad, and the staff there are rude to all students. When there is a visit from higher officials, you can see the canteen as shiny as granite.

Faculty: Question papers are given the day before examinations. No way you can learn something new here. The exams are just like any other. No proper guidance is provided for the university exams. All they care about is fees.

Other: Discipline is not maintained here. You can find students from every department roaming outside during class times. They accept the punishment from the department heads and still roam because they think that's cool. If you want to get educated and also disciplined, this is not the right place for you.

It is the best college in Thanjavur.

Placements: About 75-84% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies like Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and L&T visited our campus for placements. Roles like the junior engineer is offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The college offers the best courses like civil, computer, mechanical, electrical communication and electronics engineering. The college provides good laboratory and classrooms. The college provides all the games like running, Jim, football, basketball, kabaddi, and cricket. There is a food specialist for cooking, and there offer varieties of dishes.

Faculty: Teachers make students learn perfectly. They teach students properly. They are qualified. Students get good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because it is the best course in the world. Everything is good in our course. Scholarships are available for students.

Good for freedom education.

Placements: Getting placement is quite difficult. Every year campus interview will be arranged any few core companies only will hire you when you impress them in all ways. To get placement, training classes will be conducted for eight days per semester. Separate department has been formed to train the students for interview.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. Whole campus is covered by several kind of trees except playground only. Separate rest room facility is arranged for each floor. Purified drinking water supplied in each floor. Each Classroom will have four fans and tube lights.

Faculty: Each department will have six faculty members. Each laboratory will have a lab trainee. This college is affiliated to anna university. This college follow up anna university syllabus. In mechanical department it HOD teaching thermal related subjects. His teaching is extraordinary.

Other: Sports events will not be arranged. Encouragement for sports, social, cultural activities are very poor.

Other: I have mixed feelings about this college. I either prefer other college where sports are encouraged. No sports are encouraged in this college. Faculty is also not up to the mark. The only special feature that you can see in this college is well equipped labs. No other college can be competed with this college in regarding to labs. So I clearly suggest you if at all you are willing to join for the sake of labs only. We have a useless canteen.
