PIEMR Review 2023: Great campus life within the city.

Placements: As I am currently pursuing my B.Tech. degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, I have heard from seniors that the placement rate is good and that the college tries its best to bring companies to campus. The highest package offered is around INR 11 lakh by HP and Harman Cardaen, and the lowest is around INR 5 lakh by TCS and Yash Technology.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel in our college, but there is a canteen from where we can take a light breakfast; otherwise, we need to bring our own tiffin. Following that, sports and games are permitted beginning in the second year. The first year is not for sports at all. There is a fest called Urjotsav as well, which we enjoyed a lot this year.

Faculty: I am in my first year and currently in my second semester, and our first semester was moderate, and the RGPV paper pattern has changed a lot, so it's a bit difficult for us. You need to study hard. You can't pass by studying a day before the exam. The passing percentage is around 4 CGPA with all subjects clear.

Other: We had the annual fest called Urjotsav a month ago , which we enjoyed a lot. The campus is small but amazing, which means you will never feel bored. Connectivity is good as the college is situated within the city's Vijay Nagar Area. We have many cafes and restaurants surrounding the campus, as well as stationeries. Many sports and different cultural events also continue throughout the semester.

Overall PIEMR is good for pursuing engineering in Indore.

Placements: In this course, approximately 60% of students were placed in the last year's batch. The highest salary package offered is approximately 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. Around 50% of students get internships in different companies. Roles offered in this course are AI specialist, data analyst, software developer, ML specialist, etc.

Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available in the lab only. Laboratories are well-equipped but some systems are not working well. The library is small but sufficient because the campus has less crowd. Classrooms have facilities like projectors smart boards, and air conditioners. There is no hostel facility available. There is no ground for sports but they provide it in different places near campus. The food quality of the canteen is quite good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. They have good teaching skills, so the teaching quality is also good. PIEMR is affiliated with RGPV so it follows the curriculum of RGPV University which makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. The passing percentage is also above average.

Other: The field of AI is a new and promising branch with a bright future in the upcoming years. To gain advanced knowledge in this area, more quality education is needed. In the engineering department, only a limited number of events are organized. The campus is well connected to the market, although the student population is relatively small. PIEMR provides scholarships for eligible students. In addition to academics, PIEMR offers a variety of extracurricular activities through campus clubs and societies, including cultural, technical, and sports clubs.

College with supportive faculty members and good Placements, but lacks hostel and major events.

Placements: My college recently became autonomous, which has improved the academic flexibility. Placements are consistently good.

Infrastructure: ollege has decent infrastructure with well-equipped labs and a good library for students. However, there is no hostel facility on campus. Overall, the available facilities are sufficient for academic growth. College is good in terms of fee and infrastructure. Although the campus is small, it's well-managed and focused on quality education. College is good.

Faculty: Faculty members at our college are one of its strongest aspects. Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and always willing to help students, both inside and outside the classroom. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable whenever we need academic or career guidance. The overall teaching quality is good, with many faculty members using practical examples and digital tools to make learning more effective. Course curriculum is relevant to current industry needs and is regularly updated to keep pace with technological change. Faculty members are excellent and supportive.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest and good career scope. It has a practical and updated syllabus. More industry exposure and workshops would make it better. Events and fests are limited. Crowd is academic-focused, and connectivity is average. There is no hostel, but scholarships are available.
