SGSITS, Indore: worst infrastructure and fee structure for a so-called government-funded institute.

Placements: In my branch, placement is 80-90%, and the average package is around 6 LPA. The maximum package is around 25 lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies include Oracle, Mastercard, Goldman Sachs, etc. The placement is 50-60% for other branches like Civil, Mechanical, etc.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is the worst. There is no cleanliness in the washrooms and classrooms. The classrooms, washrooms, and main building infrastructure are broken. The walls and ceiling have cracks. The canteen is unclean and disgusting. Basic facilities like computer labs (still very old) and a very big library are provided.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, especially the main subject teachers. The teaching quality of the Physics faculty is very bad; they just yell at you for no reason and don't explain the subject well while expecting us to get full marks. The curriculum is very irrelevant. As engineering students, we are being taught Biology. I have chosen Computer Science, but in the first year, we have to study every single branch. Semester exams are very difficult. The questions taught in the classroom are very different from what's being asked in the actual semester exam.

Other: The fees are very high and irrelevant. The fee structure requires hostel students to pay for parking charges, which is just nonsense, and the fees have doubled from the past year. The infrastructure and quality have decreased.

Placements: At SGSITS Indore, around 85-90 percent of students get placed. The highest package offered is 44 LPA, with an average of around 7 LPA. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and ZS. Nearly 90 percent secure internships at firms like OPTUM and L&T. Roles offered include software engineer, analyst, and core engineering positions.

Infrastructure: SGSITS Indore offers modern classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, well-equipped labs, a digital library, and research centers. Hostels are decent with basic amenities. Mess food is average, while the canteen offers better variety. Medical facilities are available on campus. Sports infrastructure includes grounds for cricket, football, and basketball, and a well-maintained gymnasium.

Faculty: SGSITS faculty are helpful and qualified, with good teaching quality in core subjects. The curriculum is updated and industry-oriented. Coding and practical exposure are strong. Semester exams are moderately difficult, the pass percentage is around 70-75 percent. With consistent study, students can perform well and become industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course at SGSITS for its strong academic reputation and placement record. The best parts are practical exposure, coding culture, and experienced faculty. Improvements are needed in lab equipment and industry tie-ups. The campus has vibrant fests, a supportive crowd, good connectivity, scholarships, and active extracurricular clubs and events.

College is really good and campus is full of greenery.

Placements: There is an improvement in placement for few years. 100% placement rate of CSE and EE. Approximately 70-80% placement rate of other branches. The average package of college is approximately 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest package is 44 LPA. The average placement of CSE is 12.44 LPA.

Infrastructure: Buildings for 1st year are good but for the remaining years, the departments are not so good as college is one of the oldest college of Madhya Pradesh. 1st year hostels are in good condition, hostel of 2nd year hostel is under renovation, and 3rd and 4th year hostels have the same.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. If you attend the class sincerely, then you don't have to worry about your exams. Course curriculum is relevant, and there are changes in syllabus every year. The semester exams are not so difficult.

College is so cool and the best.

Placements: About 75% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 55 LPA, the average is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Golden, Yahoo, and others. The percentage of students who got internships is 70.

Infrastructure: There are many laboratories in every department for practicals. The classrooms are spacious and hygienic for study. There is a central library and a CIDI lab for your startup ideas. The hostel quality is good and clean, and the messy food is good and hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very supermacy. The course curriculum is very relevant, so students are prepared to succeed. Semester exams are a little bit hard, and the passing mark is 33%.

Infrastructure: About 30 acres of land is covered for the campus. Many facilities like Wi-Fi, neat and comfortable classrooms. A central library for study, and many labs for different purposes. The quality of my hostel is good and hygienic, and the mess is also in very good condition.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They help in clearing doubts respectfully and politely. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students ready for study. The difficulty level of semester exams is tough, and the pass percentage is 33.

CSE course in my college is a good option.

Placements: There are good placements in my course. Approximately 80% of students get placed on campus. The highest package is about 42 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA. Overall, placements are good, and almost all students secure internships and enjoy them.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in my department, as from this year, a new department for CSE has been built, and we have shifted there. Labs and Wi-Fi facilities are also available there. It has a large library where we can study. Hostels are also good with decent sports facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They support us mentally, socially, and academically. They are amazing. They are highly qualified and experienced. They teach us in a unique way. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not too tough. The pass percentage is about 95%.

The CSE department of my college, SGSITS.

Placements: In my branch, about 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 42 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average is about 12 LPA. About 90% of students get internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is quite good. All facilities are available, including Wi-Fi, and there are different labs as well. Hostels are also good, with double-seater rooms, and the mess food is good enough. We enjoy it here a lot.

Faculty: Teachers are very supportive. They support us mentally, socially, and academically. They are highly qualified and experienced. They uniquely teach us, and the course curriculum is good and relevant. Semester exams are average, but many students still face problems clearing them.

Other: It is worth it. You can choose this college as it is a decent option.

College is good, if you work hard.

Placements: About 95% of the students got placed last year in my course. The highest package offered last year was 45 LPA. The average package was 13 LPA, and the lowest package was 6 LPA. Top recruiter companies are Amazon, Adobe, etc. About 50% of the students got internships last year. Top roles of my course are based on coding skills.

Infrastructure: The campus area at SGSITS is about 34 acres of land. The college is situated in center of the city. College provides well-equipped laboratory and central library. There is a dispensary on the college campus. The hostel of the college is decent. Mess food quality is a little hygienic.

Faculty: Faculty members of the college are helpful in nature and well qualified. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders. Some teachers teach well but some do not. My course is relevant. The semester exams are difficult but you can pass them if you solve PYQ. 80% of the students pass the exam.

How many seats are reserved in defence quota at SGSITS Indore for CSE?

Yes you can definitely get admission for CSE in SGSITS Indore with 93.5 percentile and state quota. Seats reserved are upto 597052 ranks . So just go for it and have the bright future ahead.

The factors on which cut-off depends are JEE marks , 12th marks , Domicile (MP domicile is priority as State Government College), Gender and Category.
