PSG College of Technology M.E./M.Tech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Admission Dates, Seats

For admission to BTech at PSGCT, candidates must have passed in Class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum 45% aggregate. Admissions in the college are offered on the basis of a valid TNEA or (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) score followed by counselling.

For MTech, selections are done on the basis of TANCET or GATE but the first preference is given to GATE score. The candidate must have a degree of BTech/BE in a relevant specialization from a recognized board for admission in a MTech programme.

PSG College of Technology minimum cutoff marks vary for each of the programme. In the PSGCT BTech 2023 admissions, the most competitive cutoff was 480 and it was for the Electronics and Communication Engineering. The closing ranks 2023 for other BTech branches are mentioned below:

ME/ M.Tech programme at PSGCT is offered across various specialisations, namely Applied Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering, among others. For all specialisations available under PSG College of Technology MTech programme. MTech admission at PSG College of Technology is subject to a valid score in one among GATE/TANCET exam. Additionally, students must be eligible for the course. To be eligible, they must have completed a relevant UG degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate

Applicants are admitted to the BE/ BTech programme through TNEA scores, while ME/ M.Tech admission is done on the basis of GATE or TANCET exam scores followed by TANCA Counselling. Other than the UG and PG courses, the institute also offers full-time and part-time PhD MS across all departments.
