Review of PSG College of technology, Coimbatore.
Placements: The highest, average and lowest packages offered by recruiters will be 13 lacs, 4 lacs and 3 lacs per annum. As a large number of students got placed in 2024, it may be nearly up to 96 percent. Our students got placed in various roles. Top recruiters are TCS, ZOHO and HCL from our college.
Infrastructure: It was an amazing infrastructure. All the facilities are available on our college campus. There are free wi-fi facilities available within the campus. And a large number of newly imported systems have been placed in our laboratories. There are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls.
Faculty: As it was a harder syllabus, our faculty members made it easier by giving key materials and hints. And in our syllabus, there are some diagrammatical papers, but our faculty members taught us how to draw those diagrams from scratch in an elegant way. Our overall academic results in previous years were too good.

I am satisfied with our college training.
Placements: Almost 99% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like Caterpillar and Exxon Mobile visit our college. About 10 companies visit our college for internships. Many roles are offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities like free Wi-Fi, separate laboratories, etc. The quality of the food is very good. All facilities are well-maintained. Our college should improve its medical facilities. The mess and canteen are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and well-trained. They provide good education. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are very easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in this field. The curriculum was updated in 2019. It will change after every five years. Our college is excellent in terms of education.

PSG College Of Technology is a very good engineering college in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: PSG College of Technology is one of the famous and reputed colleges in Tamil Nadu. This college provides many courses. Students get good jobs in good companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS, etc. The salary packages are from 25,000-1.5 Lacs per month.
Infrastructure: Our campus is the biggest. The infrastructure is awesome. There are many classrooms, international special laboratories and a digital in the college. The college hostel is very clean, and the food is very hygienic. A sports ground is also available.
Faculty: The teachers are well-trained, so they teach very well. All the students can easily pass the university exams. Students of our college are university rank holders. So, the pass percentage of our college is very good. Every semester, this college arranges industry visits, which is very helpful for our campus interviews.
Other: PSG College of Technology is a very famous engineering college, and students get good jobs in good companies. So, I chose this college for mechanical engineering.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed in companies like core and IT, whereas remaining opted for higher studies, the salary package range from 3LPA to 9 LPA for core and 4 LPA T0 18 LPA fo IT sectors, TCS and infosys are the leading firms that our majority of students get placed, apart from that few core companies like L&T and Caterpillar Recruit our students .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, But not the best. The overall facilities provided for the students is excellent, classrooms are maintained well and cleaned frequently. Our college Library is one of the biggest library in south india it has a total of 4 floors with wide collection of books, and a digital learning centre.
Faculty: The teaching quality is at the highest level, the teachers are knowledgeable and experienced, and the curriculum is different from other colleges they update it regularly. The difficulty level of semester exams depends upon how you prepare for it. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: We have many clubs in our college so they conduct events like quiz, games, etc. Regularly .

Placements: Most top recruiters from the global market come here for placements. In mechanical Engineering Volvo, and Bosch is top recruiters, and other start-ups and service-based companies also come here. Internships are being offered from the second or third year

Infrastructure: The college is small in terms of area but the hostel has ample space for its playground and stuff, Even though it is small in size, the college has around 130 labs equipped with top instruments. Has Wi-Fi connection throughout the campus and a world-class library.
Faculty: The best thing about PSGCT is the faculty, they are very helpful and very sincere towards their work, Semester exams are moderately tough when compared to other colleges or anna university curricula. Although the portions taken are similar to every other college. The level of difficulty is more.
Other: No, inter-college events tbh, but inter-college occurs frequently. Best place to learn and relish not to enjoy.

It is a good college and students should enroll here to succeed in life.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in companies, and others opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: This college has a good ambiance, and students from various states are there. The hostel facility is the best. Wi-Fi is available in all hostels. It has a big library in both the college and hostel. Food is good as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: This college is an autonomous, government-aided, and private engineering college in Coimbatore, India. It is affiliated with Anna University. Among engineering colleges in India, PSG College of Technology ranked 30 among engineering colleges by India Today in 2020, and 23 among all engineering colleges in India by Outlook India in 2019. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked it 49th among engineering institutes in 2020, and 85th overall. NIRF also ranked 46th in the management ranking.

Teacher plays a major role in bringing the talents out.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of the students got placed in top companies, IT companies with the package of average 6 lacs per annum. Almost top companies like ashok leyland, caterpillar provide internship for the students who are talented. Design and engine assembly.
Infrastructure: Hostel and food was good. Separate library is available in the hostel. Wi-Fi is provided only for the laptop. And it can't be misused. Sports and games are also given very much interest and separate coaches are also available to train and make them perfect .
Faculty: Teacher plays a major role in bringing the talents out from the students. They help a lot in students career. They are very well qualified and knowledgeable to guide the students in a perfect way to provide them a good platform to excel their talents and skills.
Other: This course provide knowledge, all about the world except human body. Provides good knowledge on each and every components.

I am completely satisfied with PSG Tech. It's one of the best engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: PSG College of Technology is the best at providing placements. Our college will work hard to make students get placed in good companies. You can expect placement classes even on Sundays. Even in COVID-19 pandemic situation, we have placement classes.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good and up to the mark here. You can use any of the laboratories available in any department in our college easily by just taking permission from a concerned faculty member and the principal. The quality of the food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: The course curriculum of mechanical engineering is good and is up to date. Teachers are also well experienced here. Most of them are PhD holders, so they surely have a lot of knowledge in the subjects. They are very friendly and are happy to clear doubts at any time.
Other: The importance given to CAD and other 3D designing software is less here, so our college should be improved in that field.

I am not sure about it. First, check whether KTU have given a provision of getting transfer to another University in their rules and regulations. If yes, then also it is possible only, and if you have cleared all papers up to current semester.

Your cut off score is not bad but as there are reservations based on caste, the scores vary for each of them. If you belong to OC or BC, then your chances are low. If you belong to MBC, SC, or ST, then you can get it. Try your best at the counselling.
