Placements: Last year, the placement percentage was 66.67%. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, while the lowest is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters included companies such as Microsoft, Azure, Texas Instruments, various MNCs, Infosys, and Cisco. 90% of students secured internships at leading companies like Microsoft and Infosys.
Infrastructure: The food in the canteen is good. Libraries are available for 6 days and they will be very useful. Labs are well-built and have a good network connection. Hostel food will be good and timings are strictly followed for girls and boys. They are maintaining the hostel well like cleaning and washing, and machines washing cloths are available for free cost for girls. Sports activities are available and extra time will be provided for them.
Faculty: Most of the faculty will help with the preparation like how to prepare. Exams will teach you so many lessons as relative grading is followed by our college. The course curriculum is relevant and students are well trained, semester exams are average and if you study you can get marks. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course by thinking that after 4 years core companies will grow more and job opportunities may be high. I aim to earn money and my educational knowledge should be valued.

My college experience at PSG.
Placements: Around 70%-80% of students got placed from our course and the highest package is around 37 LPA and the lowest package is around 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Texas Instruments, Wipro, Snider, Qualcomm, Nvidia, Intel, etc. Around 30% of students got internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: There are libraries for each department and Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus with varying internet speed. There are air-conditioners, seminar halls, and classrooms available. The quality of food is acceptable in mess and comparatively good in canteen. There is a clinic inside the hostel for medical facilities.
Faculty: The professors here are highly experienced and qualified. Their teaching quality is exceptional. The course curriculum is relevant to the current market trends and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to difficult depending on our preparation for the same.
Other: I chose this course as it was one of the first courses to be introduced in PSG and had high value. There are numerous events workshops hackathons and club activities.

The college is very good and we have chosen the best college. Placements are also good.
Placements: PSG College of Technology is well-known for its placements. Around 66.67% of students got placed. The placement is still going on. The highest package is 40 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Texas Instruments and Schneider Electric are well-known recruiting companies in our college.
Infrastructure: At PSG College of Technology, we have a fabulous infrastructure. Lab facilities are well and good. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good, and the food is clean and tasty.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are respectful and disciplined. They are treated as well. They are giving us extra knowledge like practical knowledge also. The course curriculum is relevant and we have already gone on industrial visits to gain extra knowledge. Semester exams are moderate to us. The pass percentage is 99.9%.
Other: My department is B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which is a very interesting one, so I chose it. EEE is one of the first founded departments in our college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty, syllabus, freedom, and facilities.
Placements: PSG College of Technology is well known for its excellence in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. PSGCT guarantees students with placements in numerous domains. Around 85% of final-year students are placed in core and software-related companies. The highest package is 42 LPA in Texas Instruments and the lowest package ranges from 5-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: PSG College of Technology has a decent infrastructure. It has a common library for 4 floors which contains almost all books needed for students to prepare for semester exams. Books for competitive exams like GATE, CAT, etc., are also available. The entire college is provided with a Wi-Fi facility and labs have a wide range of instruments in good working conditions. PSG has a wide range of sports. The food available in the mess and canteen is hygienic and good in taste.
Faculty: PSG College of Technology staff members are well-fitted for their jobs and they have excellent knowledge. They are both friendly and explain topics in a way that everyone can understand. PSGCT syllabus is one of the best. It covers a wide range of domains to adapt to future changes. Semester exam questions are moderate or sometimes tough but since the concepts are well delivered PSG has a pass percentage of around 95%.

Review of PSGCT Coimbatore by Ajithkumar.
Placements: In my college, all big MNCs will come for placement purposes. Almost 90% of students got placed. The average package was 6.5 LPA. The highest package was 24 LPA. The lowest package was 3.5 LPA. Recruited companies were TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Qualcomm, Goldman Sachs, Caterpillar, and so on.
Infrastructure: Facilities in college like classrooms and libraries were very neat and clean. In Hhstel, gym was there. The food was unlimited. There were 2 to 3 varieties of food. We could choose and eat. If food is finished, then they will also prepare and provide it. If we want to use Wi-Fi, then we need to ask our floor supervisors.
Faculty: In my college, 3 internal exams will be there after that semester exam they will conduct. In semester, minimum 50% we need to take. It was mandatory. All teachers will speak Tamil and English in classrooms so no need to worry. All faculty members were good-hearted and teaching quality was awesome.
Other: In my college, they will conduct intrams like an annual day for every year. In hostel, they will conduct 2 times semester fests, and 1 time hostel day they will conduct.

Our college has excellent infrastructure, faculty members and resources with top-notch placements.
Placements: In our college, better placements for EEE students must have a CPGA of at least 8.4. It's the only way to get placed in good top companies. The average salary package offered is 14 LPA. There is a separate session for placement training. They provide internships to students within the college as well as for companies. The stipend varies based on what kind of internship they are receiving and from which company they are receiving it.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are perfect and well-conditioned. The hostel provides Wi-Fi, quality food, and good rooms. There is PSG Medical. All sports facilities are available on a large playground. Sometimes you need to get permission for Wi-Fi and books. The placement office functions in a separate air-conditioned block with state-of-the-art facilities for conducting pre-placement talks, written tests, group discussions, and interviews. It has steadily progressed over the years in enhancing the placement potential effectively. The hostel has very good infrastructure at an affordable cost, and the food served in PSG is the best.
Faculty: In our college, the faculty-to-student ratio is 1:13. They take care of all students. There are more than 50 professors in our department with higher qualifications. All are mostly doctorates. Most of them studied at NITs and IITs. When we asked any questions, they cleared them with pleasure. Faculty members are well experienced as our college is one of the oldest in the city with more than 75 years of existence. The course curriculum of the institute is the best thing about it as it helps students learn as per industrial needs.
Other: Our college tries its best to impart the best opportunities to us by conducting written tests, mock interviews, and practice group discussions to enhance our employability skills. The college has its very own industry situated inside the college itself. PSG College of Technology has a great ambiance and some good technology to study in college like PSG College of Technology. It's a wonderful opportunity to do it. I'm so glad that I studied at PSG College of Technology and I'm proven.

It is the best engineering college in the state.
Placements: More than 70% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 40 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 8 LPA. Internships are good, and students are paid almost equal to a job offer. Many converted their internship into a job offer.
Infrastructure: The department lab is one of the oldest labs where there are many machines and many supporting faculty members. The library is the best in our college, and it is the best in the city. The hostel is the most important thing with good maintenance and clean and tasty food.
Faculty: Teachers here are the most knowledgeable, and they are very good at teaching. The course is very helpful as it deals with more practical knowledge simultaneously with the theory. There is an industry inside the college which is helpful in training the students.
Other: The campus has the best library, labs, hostel, ground, hospital facility, etc. Many students got scholarships from alumni. The biggest strength is that students contact with the alumni is at its best.

Very satisfied with the facilities, great placement in 2019, good faculty and infrastructure
Placements: 1. About 90 percent who opted for placement were placed in on-campus placement itself and some of the remaining got placed off-campus after graduation.
2. Average salary is 5LPA, 34 LPA the highest and 3.5 LPA is the lowest
3. Top recruiting companies areMicrosoft, Goldman, Qualcomm, Western digital, Bosch and the list goes on.
4. Junior Engineer, Officer, Analyst are the roles offered. 60 percent got internship in companies like TVS, Qualcomm, Bosch, Intel.
Infrastructure: 1. Separate Digital labs for Electrical, Electronics with enough equipments and free Wi-Fi. A separate building for library, GRD library. Classrooms are kind of old but the new buildings have a grand look.
2. Hostel room features varies from Dorm room to two sharing room based on the fee. Food is comparatively good. Sport clubs are very active.
Faculty: 1. Well educated faculty members, but your learning will be based on your active participation in the class, they won't spoon feed.
2. Even though the course covers a wide range of topics and subject, you can prepare yourself by choosing specific electives and department offers many such courses.
Other: 1. I chose this course out of curiosity in Electronics. The best thing about EEE is that we were able to attend a lot of companies in placement compared to other departments.
2. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, which could be narrowed down.
3. Two major cultural events, KRIYA symposium and a lot of Events conducted by 15+ student clubs.

No, you will not get PSG College of Engineering with 62 marks in JEE Mains and 82% in PCM, it would be better if you try for other colleges.

PSG does not accept any JEE ranking. Admission to PSG college is only through single window counseling by Anna University Chennai. This counselling will be based on ranking that is provided to you on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th standard examination held
