If you want to take admission at PSIT, firstly read this.
Placements: PSIT promises 100% placement. Last year, my seniors got full placement as PSIT fulfilled its promises. The highest package is around 7 LPA CTC for BBA, and average is around 4 LPA. Some got internships, and the rest all got full-time jobs. Top companies are Pyramid, HCL Tech, Wipro, Accenture, High Beam Global, and many more. According to me, around 30% of students got internships, and the rest got full-time jobs. The roles offered by the companies are fashion consultant, retail sales, sales executive, HR trainee, and more jobs related to sales.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. It has AC plant too, Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are also well-cleaned. They have benches for students to sit on ground, cafeterias, and brands like Samocha, Nestle, Amul, Brio, and Urban Vadapav. I think PSIT has the best infrastructure in Kanpur.
Faculty: Every faculty at PSIT is well educated, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of their lecture is very nice. They firstly plan everything, how much is to be taught in how many lectures, and execute it which enhances the systematic, organised, and structured functions of PSIT College of Higher Education.
Other: I chose this course so that I can prepare for CAT and pursue MBA in future. BBA course will give me an understanding of the basics of MBA. The things that would be better are some practicality in course and providing internships from the second year. They conduct Ignitia, Freshers, footprints, and lots of events for hostellers which invite a huge crowd and lots of fun.

The college provides good infrastructure and jobs.
Placements: PSIT Kanpur has decent placement records with many core IT and core companies visiting. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. Average packages are moderate, around 4-5 LPA, with some higher offers. It's good for consistent placement opportunities in the private sector.
Infrastructure: PSIT Kanpur offers modern infrastructure with well-equipped labs, digital classrooms, and a big library. The campus is clean and green. Hostels are decent with Wi-Fi, good security, hygienic food, and basic facilities. Overall, both academics and hostel life are comfortable and student-friendly.
Faculty: PSIT Kanpur has supportive faculty with good subject knowledge. The curriculum is updated as per AKTU guidelines with a focus on theory and practicals. Exams are conducted regularly and are moderately tough, requiring consistent study. Overall, academics are structured and well-managed.
Other: PIST Kanpur provides good exposure through workshops, seminars, hackathons, and industrial visits. Extra focus on soft skills and personality development helps in placements. The campus life is active with cultural and technical fests, making learning balanced with fun activities.

Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2026
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good infrastructure, helpful faculty, decent placements, but strict rules and outdated curriculum.
Placements: In 2024, 291 out of 456 BBA/BCA students got placed, which gives a placement rate of about 64%. The average salary is 3.69 LPA, and the highest package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Capgemini, Infosys, HCL, Turning, Pyramid, LTI, and Justdial. Common roles are offered like graduation trainee, system associate, desk job, and entry-level tech roles.
Infrastructure: PSIT College of Higher Education offers strong facilities for BCA students, including Wi-Fi-enabled smart classrooms, computer labs, and a well-stocked digital library. Hostels are clean and secure with AC/non-AC rooms, 24/7 water and power. The mess and canteen serve hygienic food, though quality can vary. Students have access to a medical center with doctors and an ambulance, plus a gym, indoor games, and outdoor sports like cricket, basketball, and football. Transport, banking, and campus shops add convenience, though strict rules are often mentioned.
Faculty: Faculty at PSITCHE are helpful and qualified, though experience levels vary. The BCA curriculum is relevant but needs more modern topics, so extra certification helps. Semester exams are moderate, with most students passing if they study consistently.
Other: I'm from the BCA course at PSIT College of Higher Education. The batch had a mix of students from different cities, and placements showed a fair balance. Many got into companies like TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, and HCL, with packages averaging around 3 LPA-4 LPA and some higher offers up to 6 LPA-7 LPA.

Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2027
4.2

Supportive faculty, relevant curriculum, and active campus life.
Placements: 70 to 80% of BCA students get placed with an average package of 3 LPA and the highest up to 10 LPA+. Top recruiters include Accenture, Capgemini, Infosys, and HCL, offering roles like Software Developer, Web Developer, Analyst, and IT Support.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled classrooms, well equipped computer labs, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and basic amenities. Mess food is satisfactory, and the canteen offers variety. Medical facilities are available on campus, and students also enjoy sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games, making overall campus life comfortable and balanced.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and supportive, with many holding MBA, MCA, and Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality is good, the curriculum is industry relevant with useful training programs, and semester exams are moderately difficult with a good pass rate.
Other: I chose BCA because it builds a strong foundation in computer applications and opens good career opportunities in IT. The best things about the course are practical labs, supportive faculty, and industry relevant training, however, more focus on advanced technologies and real-world projects would make it better. The campus has a friendly crowd with regular events, fests, and extracurricular activities. Connectivity and surroundings are good, and scholarships are available for deserving students, which adds to the overall positive experience.

The college is good and strict regarding academics, so you can go for it.
Placements: Approximately 50% of the students are placed, while another 20-25% go for higher education, 5-10% go into their family business, and 5% start their own ventures. The rest either don't want a placement or don't get one. In 2025, the highest package for BCA is 14 LPA, the lowest I think was 3 LPA, and the average is about 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters include Accenture, TCS, and Pyramid, etc. Internships for BCA students are less common at our college, and I don't know the top roles.
Infrastructure: We have BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) classes, where we get two switches at our seats and one LAN switch in classrooms, labs, and the library, everywhere. The whole college area has ventilated AC, and the campus is very big with a quite decent infrastructure. The hostel is very good, with two beds in a room. Both AC and non-AC options are available, and there is good, hygienic food, along with facilities for washing and ironing clothes.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, and they have a friendly nature; not all of them, but most are very good and knowledgeable with a very nice nature. The teaching quality and material are too good for studies. The curriculum is relevant, and there are students who are ready for the industry. The semester exams are of medium difficulty, and the passing percentage is approximately 90%.
Other: I have an interest in computers and coding, and also a quite interest in AI. The best thing is that we can learn a big topic easily and learn a lot from it in a little relaxed way. I would like them to add some more higher topics or subjects, or update the current ones. there are events and fests, and the campus is full of crowd, but the college is so huge that it handles it very easily. Scholarship is less there, however, there are groups that hold extracurricular activities every month.

Great infrastructure, disciplined environment, decent placements, but average faculty.
Placements: About 100% of students got placed, and some of them chose Higher Education. The highest package of the 2025 batch is 10 LPA and the lowest is around 2.5LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Deloitte, Capgemini, etc., come here. B.Tech students got internships in big companies like Google, Amazon, Capgemini, JP Morgan, etc. Top roles are full-stack developer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of PSIT are very underrated. It's a very beautiful green campus. Everything is available here, like LAN, Wi-Fi, library, etc., which are available in a big institute. Foods and canteen are also available, but they are too expensive. There is a club in our college that holds some activities like games, sports, etc. The main event of the college is Ignitia.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for students who want to study, and also strict, in a fully disciplined manner. The teachers of my college are well-trained and they have done their Ph.D. and have more experience in teaching. The college trains students to be industry-ready. It is affiliated with CSJMU University. The semester exams are about 60% easy questions and 40% are moderate and tough. If a student studies only at a college that teaches, he can score more than 9 and above a CGPA.
Other: I am preparing for JEE Main, but I failed, so I am choosing BCA for Computer Science. The college is very strict on its discipline and imposes fines for any small mistake.
