Placements are not much good because the recruiters need better performance, but our college prefers good CGPA, not practical knowledge.

Really good college for growth and development of skills.
Placements: The highest package till now is 8 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Companies are Cognizant, Zoho, TCS, Kaar Technology, LTI, and Mindtree. 75 % of students got placed. The companies offer software development training as a job role for many students. Overall placement here is good.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are too good and well maintained. Actually, our college is famous for its food. The hostel is well maintained and clean every day by the service staff, and very hygienic in everything. They provide a separate menu each day, both veg and non veg.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful and clear every doubt. 98% is the pass percentage. The course has a very significant impact on the industry level, and also the college takes its students to different companies to see and learn how it actually works in the industry.

A good campus and one of the best choices of my life that I will not regret.
Placements: A good placement cell. My college focuses more on placements. They provide the best curriculum and training for it. This is very good. Google and Microsoft visit and take a large number of students for placement. The college is well-reputed for its well-known and good rules.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and much more. I feel very good, especially about their food, which is on point. The hostel is very neat and clean. The food is very good. Biryani on Tuesday with potato chips is very good.
Faculty: Good faculty and good curriculum. Our curriculum is partly decided by top MNCs. It is pleasing that the pass percentage is 40, and it helps us build the core of CSE. So, I recommend everyone to join here because of the staff working here. The staff are always ready to clarify doubts.
Other: It is very good that I took admission at this college, and now I am enjoying it.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2027

This college is well-suited for those who only do two things study and eat.
Placements: I'm currently in 3rd year of my UG in B.Tech IT, according to my department super seniors who were passed out in the year 2025. The percentage of graduates who got placed in campus selection was about 60% with an average package of 4 LPA. The highest package of the academic year 2025 is about 12 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA the graduates placed. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Virtusa. The percentage of internships is about 30% provided by some new kickstart companies. Top roles offered by our course are full stack engineer, support engineer, product developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The whole infrastructure of my course and hostel is not as good compared with other colleges. The whole infrastructure of the college is about 28 years old. It gives you a feeling of amateurness. The Wi-Fi will be provided for the whole college 24/7. But in the case of power off they don't have any backup. The labs are well-maintained but you will rarely get a chance to use the labs. The infrastructure of classes is pretty average more like an old room, with a digital board. I hardly remember spending time in the library in case you need your department's permission to use the library.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty experienced and friendly too. You can easily get along with them. 60% of the course curriculum is set by Anna University and the rest 40% is provided by respective partner companies. The exams like unit tests and internals are held very often. The more interested you are the more chance that you will get a good opportunity. The semester exams are a little difficult because the question paper is set by Anna University members. The pass percentage is about 92% of our course.
Other: I chose this course based on my own interests. The best thing about this course is that you can understand how software engineering works. This college is very bad if you are expecting for good campus life. There are no fests, no events, and nothing at all. All you need to do is study and write exams. 80% of the crowd in the college is amateurs they don't know how the outer world is. There are certain rules that must be followed by the students. Men should not talk with women. No phones are allowed inside the campus. No extracurricular activities are conducted.

Great infrastructure and placements with supportive faculty members.
Placements: I pursued B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering. Around 80% of students got placed during the campus placement drive. The highest package offered was 18 LPA by Amazon, and the lowest package was 3.2 LPA. Top roles offered to students included software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities were available in our department. Our college provided high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, well-equipped computer labs with updated systems, and each class had one projector. Mess and canteen provided a variety of food options, and it was very hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful to my department. They were well qualified and they had good knowledge of subjects. Their teaching was very clear and easy to understand. Most of the students were able to pass, and the pass percentage was around 80 to 90%.

If you are ready to work hard then it's for you.
Placements: I am currently studying B.Tech in information technology. I am a second-year student. Some students are placed in third year itself. It's purely due to their hard work and consistency. The placements are still getting slow but if you try and put your full focus on the right skills, the placement is yours.
Infrastructure: At RMK Engineering College, you can get many opportunities like CAT lab, mech lab, computer lab, etc. The main thing is how you use the facilities that college provides. Be aware of technologies, and the facilities are always available to clear doubts.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and kind. They will not say no. They are always ready to help students. The lab assistant is also available here so it's good to improve yourself. They will guide you but you need to travel on that path. So, can ask any doubts to faculty members that are relevant to studies or they will not answer them. All the staffs are well-experienced.
Other: As a hostel student, don't worry about food. The food quality is much more than a 3-star hotel. So, don't worry about that, and as a hosteller the gym and ground are free to use. AC gym costs Rs 3,00 per month. The environment is still good.

First step to your career.
Placements: 45% of the students are placed in our college. The remaining 55% of students are not placed in our college. 13 Lakhs per annum is the highest, 3 Lakhs per annum is the lowest, and 4.5 Lakhs per annum is the average package offered in our college. TCS and TATA ELXSI are the top recruiting companies in our college. 20% of the students got internships in our college. Graduate trainee and trainee are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: In our classrooms, we have projectors, and the infrastructure is good. The classrooms are good, and the labs are not okay. The library is very good. In our hostels, the quality of food is excellent. The hostels are good and very hygienic. It is a good environment in hostels, and the mess quality is also good.
Faculty: Yes, our teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching is okay. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. The difficulty is moderate, and the pass percentage is 50%. The faculty teaching increases students' percentage, so it is good. The teaching is okay.
Other: I am very much interested in this course. Practical knowledge and some extra cultural activities have to be improved. Yes, there are very few activities, and very few fests are conducted.
