It is a place where you can trust and design your future. It has value for money.
Placements: Almost every student who opted for placements is being placed in companies. Zoho was the top company that offered the highest salary package in our department. The salary package offered was 2 LPA to 6 LPA. About 10% of students got internships. The top role offered in our course is software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college campus had the best facilities in Tamil Nadu. We had Mitchubishi lab equipment, PLC, and SCADA devices. Libraries had relevant subject books. The hostel was well equipped and maintained regularly. The food served was hygienic and fresh.
Faculty: Teachers were friendly and helpful throughout the completion of the course. The college offers two industrial visits every semester. We went to Sriharikota and similar companies like Hyundai to understand automation and instrumentation technology.
Other: I chose this course because of the reputation of our college. The course I chose is best for the future.

Discipline, good infrastructure and studies.
Placements: Placements are good for our batch and seniors too. More than 75% of students were placed and average salary offered is 2.75 Lacs per annum and the highest salary would be 6 Lacs per annum. Companies like TCS, Wipro and Infosys, zoho and core related companies visited to the campus. Our college has a placement cell. It is useful for students to prepare for the interviews.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good provided with library and lab. Quality of the labs and classroom are good and specially food is really good and healthy. Hostel rooms are legible with beds provided and big ground for sports and games. Computer lab are provided with centralized AC.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and highly qualified to the best of my knowledge. Teaching is been very good and methods of teaching varies from one staff to the other. Industry exposure was there. We went to industrial visits and got few knowledge out there and course curriculum is also good.

This is a college, where you can't enjoy.
Placements: Here, in the placements, three college students will be linked together to attend a company. Those colleges are RMK, RMD & RMKCIT so that there will be heavy competition for placement. For one company, more than 1K students will attend, and that company will recruit only 5 to 10 students. So, the placement is average only in this college.
Infrastructure: The college has a wonderful infrastructure, and they maintain it regularly. The infrastructure and facility are available on the campus area amongst the best. The campus spread over 400-acres in a beautiful atmosphere ideally suited for technical education. It is wholly self-contained campus comprising of everything that the students on campus would ever require.
Faculty: The college has more than 500 computers and more than 100 Mac systems. All the systems are in the working conditions, and also the Wi-Fi facility is connected to every computer. Every classroom has more than eight fans, and every seminar hall has more than ten air-conditioners. The sports ground is big, and you can play only in the sports period and that also you will play only one time in a month. There is no canteen in this college. The foods they provide is mandatory. The food is hygienic in quality, and you will never disappoint on it.
Other: The teachers working here are highly qualified, and they teach well with good quality. They have a good English knowledge. They can explain every topic in an understandable manner.

Other: Good with all facilities and infrastructure. Education is good. Lack of exposure. Unnecessary strict measures that suppresses student’s liberty. Staffs are good and the hospitality is exceedingly good. Food is awesome. Facilities at hostels are good. Students are allowed to use laptops.. Most importantly restrictions for interaction with opposite sex is seriously a big problem. Those can be revised. Other than that the college is very good.

RMKEC which is a private college in Chennai, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai has a lot of departments. Though there are better colleges other than this in Chennai they are also trying to be well established in all areas. I think 5 years down the line RMKEC would also gain popularity like other colleges in Chennai. It is situated on the outskirts of Chennai. I think the college of had proper funds can mend the labs and basic facilities to improve the standard which lags. They can invite people expert in these areas to come and give suggestions in areas they need betterment. It can also be done that the alumni group can work and contribute to the Alma matter for the welfare of juniors. They can also have a better network for alumni which is missing. Conference and workshops are being conducted but only with few colleges that can also be expanded to widen up the exposure level of the students.
