In India, RMK Engineering College is typically regarded as a Tier 2 engineering school. RMK Engineering College is one of the premier private engineering college in institutional engineering college in Tamil Nadu but it is not among the most premier engineering institutions in the country or even in the state, for that matter, such as IIT, Chennai or NIT, Trichy. Despite this it is widely known for its academic quality, the vocational slant given to its courses and excellent placement records. The college provides many diverse engineering courses, where divisions such as Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) have great demand. Admission to RMK Engineering College is not much easy, especially because it happens purely on merit. While applying for undergraduate courses including B.E. and B.Tech, candidates would have passed 10+2 with at least a 60% aggregate marking in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There aren't any entrance exams with admissions happening through TNEA counseling.
