Placement is average neither good nor bad, But if you view the overall aspect of this college it's not worth joining just for an average placement.

B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good faculty, strong placements, and excellent infrastructure with a supportive environment.
Placements: In our ISE batch (2022-2026) at RajaRajeswari College of Engineering, about 78% of students got placed. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the average is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters include Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Bosch, and Honeywell. Around 60% secured internships in companies like BEL, Bosch, and Tata Elxsi. Roles offered are embedded engineer, network engineer, design engineer, and software developer. The placement cell's training, workshops, and mock interviews greatly helped us perform well, and overall, placements are above average with opportunities in both core and IT fields.
Infrastructure: Our ISE department has well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, Wi-Fi access, and a spacious library with a good collection of books and journals. The hostel offers clean rooms, decent mess food, a canteen with variety, medical facilities, and sports areas for games.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified, supportive, and uses practical examples to make learning effective, while the curriculum is updated and industry-relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult with a pass percentage of around 85%, encouraging students to maintain consistent preparation.

Get to know about college.
Placements: In our batch, there are enough people and our course is new to the college yet they figure out how to teach. Every student gets minimum placing in their academic year. Someone has come with VTU application and the people who came with management. The fee is offered and our course has high recruitment in most of the companies. Internships are provided by the college. But internships are paid. Yet students managed to get unpaid internships by themselves.
Infrastructure: We have enough labs for practical and also enough space for every student. Library facilities are excellent. We have most of the books on the campus that are sufficient for our academics. Wi-Fi is given to students only for academic purposes, not for personal use, whereas hosted people can also use personal use. I am not in hostel, I do not have enough knowledge to judge about food or facilities in hostel. But my friends told that the food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful for exams or projects. Even if they don't get it at a particular moment, they will learn and explain this later. According to me, students are not completely ready for an industry where they may lack confidence or knowledge depending on their academic performance.
Other: I chose this because my course is booming now. The cost of my course is affordable at this college.

It is a waste of time with long and exhausting classes and no good placements.
Placements: I am not sure about placements but I have heard it is really bad. Very few companies visit the college for placement. Packages are low. Very few students get placed. They do online interviews that are not really good. We are not even prepared properly on how to crack a job. Codeyoung is the only recruiting company, that I have heard gives good placements.
Infrastructure: It has very bad facilities. Labs are really small. Chairs in the lab are very comfortable. Classrooms also are very comfortable. There is no proper airflow, and fans barely give any air. It is especially bad during summer. There is literally no first aid. Lifts stop working from time to time and we have to walk multiple floors. The drinking water is hygienic. We will be dehydrated but there will be no water to drink. Washrooms also don't have a water supply many times.
Faculty: There are only a few really good teachers. The rest don't teach anything. But they just force us to sit in class for Attendance. It is such a waste of time because we could rather be learning something more useful than sitting in a class and listening to nothing useful. We have no exposure to the real industry. They don't keep us informed about anything.
Other: We should have more hands-on experiences rather than sit in class and read the notes given to us. The assignments could be reduced because everyone just copies them. It doesn't matter to anyone, it doesn't help anyone. They should teach us more about interviews and jobs rather than just teaching theory.

Robotics and automation depth. RRCE.
Placements: Our college has placement cell and more than 80 companies visit the campus. The core technical departments such as computer science and electronics and communication have good placements. The same couldn't be said about other departments. In robotics and automation, the first batch of 2021-22 are undergoing placements. So far out of 18 students of the batch, 6 have been placed in for an average of 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure of RRCE is quite good. We as students get good Wi-Fi connections. All the departments have their personalized labs. The facilities such as Gym, Cafeteria, Courts and Library are available. The Hostel of RRCE is pretty good. It's only 50 meters away from the academic building making is easy to access Lectures. The Hostels are neat and clean. The food of the mess are clean and hygienic. The college have well medical facilities in the campus.
Faculty: The Teachers are very helpful and supportive in Robotics and automation depth. They can help you with academic issues. Atmost you can find trouble with 2-3 facility members. The Depth. Deals with the modern elements of mechanical along with Mechatronics. The college is well-equipped with machinaries and tools required for the course. The academic wise, the students can find it quite challenging as Robotics and automation have fractions of computer Science, electronics and mechatronics involved. They have quite range of engineering in this field. As per result wise, the pass percentage range from 65-80%.
Other: The environment is very friendly in RRCE. Students and Teachers are in a union. Every year 3-4 Fests take place in campus. Every year Inter Branch Sports tournaments are held along with Vtu tournaments. There are many clubs in the college for extracurricular activities. The college also have organizations such as NCC, NSS and Rotary The college campus is situated in Kumbalgudu, Mysore road giving it access to bus and metro.

Disappointing experience and bad faculty support.
Placements: Placements are pathetic. In my department, there are 150 students and out of them, a maximum of 10-12 of them got placed in technical companies. Rest around 15-20 got placed in non-technical companies. They are not from the technical field. The college brought only 4-5 technical company roles. The rest all are non-technical roles. The highest package is 7 LPA. THe lowest is 2 LPA. In my department, Codeyoung only hires students more. There are no companies that came for internship roles. Only final-year placements are there after the 6th semester. The top role is an assistant software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. There is only 1 building of 7 floors. It looks like a lego building block. Wi-Fi is there but it is very difficult to get access to it. It takes too much paperwork. Labs are okay, but systems are with old software. Classes are also okay. The library is quite good. The hostel is very bad. Small rooms and bathrooms are there. The mess food is terrible. There is no gym facility. The medical system is bad here. It has an average size of ground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers do not have any technical knowledge. They are only M.Tech pass. Young teachers are there and keep on changing the teachers. Some professors are there who have been in the teaching line for a long but still, they do not have knowledge. The course curriculum is worse, there is only theoretical knowledge, no practical knowledge. No use of all the syllabus. The internal exam is very easy and teachers provide important questions for it. End-semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I enrolled in the CSE branch in 2022, choosing this because of its relevance in today's tech-driven era. The best part of this is undoubtedly the career opportunities it provides, but I feel the technical syllabus needs improvement. The campus life, however, has been disappointing as there are no major fests or events. Only very small department=wise fests are held. The crowd is limited, resembling a tier 3 city environment. The campus surroundings are also lacking. There is little to no emphasis on extracurricular activities or industry exposure.

The college campus is really good, ventilated, and peaceful.
Placements: Almost 20% of students were enrolled in this course on artificial intelligence and machine learning. The highest package offered was 24 LPA, according to my knowledge. There are several top recruiters like Bosch, Wipro, Infosys, etc. Students who get into companies are truly based on their skills.
Infrastructure: There are many infrastructure facilities present at RAJARAJESHWARI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, which is located in Bangalore. It consists of several labs. These labs are both hardware- and software-based. The classrooms are well ventilated, along with a huge playground.
Faculty: The teachers enrolled in this course are educated and professional. The teachers are qualified and experienced not only in this particular course but also in all the other courses that are present here at RRCE. The semester exams are equally hard compared to other colleges.

Yes, RajaRajeswari College of Engineering is located in a safe and accessible area. The college even has buses for the students and faculty outside the campus. The college has the advantage of being very well connected to the BMTC bus services and a major station of the under commission.
