A college with good and friendly faculty, a beautiful campus and good placements.
Placements: There is no doubt the placements percentage is increasing year by year. Within 2-3 years, more than 100 students have been placed in MNCs and reputed companies. The salary package is average, that is 2.8 lakh per annum, but that's satisfying for me at least. Mainly students get placed in industries from Pune, Mumbai and Kolhapur. If you're a quality engineer, then no doubt of placement. You will be definitely placed in a reputed company.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, it has the best infrastructure in Konkan region. There is no doubt in that. The college is having Wi-Fi connectivity on the campus. The college has purchased various software which is costly in the market for developing students at best. The labs are excellent with all necessary equipment. The college also provides a dispensary. The food is also of quality nature in the mess. Only a little bit of infrastructure needs to be developed, and soon it will be developed.
Faculty: The faculty are very experienced and are having sound knowledge in their respective field. We are having PhD professors with more than 7 years of experience at an average. Teaching is based on concept clearance type. Digital media is used to clear the concepts. Various industry experts have visited the college and conducted various seminars, and the recent one was Jindal energy limited.
Other: This college is best in Konkan region. Ratnagiri members have the facility of the bus provided by a private vendor, and the college has arranged a bus during evening time. So, there is no issue of travelling. There is a beautiful atmosphere on the campus, and there is no problem of ragging at all. Be safe and don't worry about anything.

RMCET: A must visit for an engineer.
Placements: There are good placements provided by the college. Every year, 10-20 students get placed in reputed companies. Also, every year, there is a program of Seed Infotech to teach students how to face the interview. Also, there is good guidance provided by industrial experts so that students can understand the need of the industry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty good. There are good ventilated classrooms and a projector is also available in each department. So, digital teaching is done by the teachers. There is a good canteen and hostel facilities on the campus with a well-established infrastructure. There is also 24×7 Wi-Fi provided by the college so that students can explore new things.
Faculty: The faculty team in the college is well-experienced. Every faculty member has a minimum experience of 5 years. Their technical knowledge is pretty good. Every year, they arrange an industrial visit so that students can get industrial exposure. Also, the curriculum is completed at 100% every year.
Other: The college hostel and mess facilities are pretty good. You explore a new world here. There are many places to visit near the campus. Also, the library in the college is pretty good with a large number of books and journals. The campus is full of greenery and there is a big ground where you can maintain your fitness. A gym is also available in the college.

Place of quality education- RMCET.
Placements: I don't know about the placement status of the previous year. But all the students of our batch were placed in various reputed organization. The percentage was about 80%. For IT and computer branch, there were many companies who visited the campus like ACTY Systems, Persistent Systems and L&T Infotech etc. Many students were placed in these companies. Design engineer, Java developer, graduate engineer trainee, maintenance engineer, business executive and many more posts were offered.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is high-speed Wi-Fi enabled. Students can access the internet through this Wi-Fi.
Also, the central library is very good, which contains sufficient reference as well as textbooks of various subjects of engineering. Also, there is a hospital present in the campus. The college is equipped with a large ground where students can play various games. The infrastructure is quite nice with a green campus. The hostels are quite impressive with almost all the necessary requirements.
Faculty: Our college has very good and talented faculty members. They always motivate and help the students to do new projects and guide them. In our department, we have 14 faculty members, out of which, 1 has completed his Ph.D and 3 have registered for Ph.d. Our college is well known for its teaching staff and extra-curricular activities. Our college has initiated a new program of one-month industrial internship for all the students, so that they will get industrial experience.
Other: Our college has arranged many events such as Noveture, Scintilla, Junkyard which are national level events. Also, the annual sports and gathering are celebrated with joy. Navratri is also celebrated in the college every year with Garbha every night. Students enjoy their life in RMCET with a good education background.

Good infrastructure and active management.
Placements: Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Godrej etc visited the campus.
There were many number of students from computer engineering and information technology branches getting placed in highly reputed companies.
There is a special training and placement department of the college handling all these activities.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped laboratories, and a Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere in the campus.
The hostel rooms are also good, and there are four canteens available in the campus as well as many number of canteens available outside the college gate.
Arohan is a festival for different sports, games as well as cultural events.
Various national-level events are also organized by the institute.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and the student to faculty ratio is 14:1.
There are limited industries in the city so there is less industrial exposure, but the industrial visits are arranged for this reason.
The college facilities are good enough to be a good engineer,
Especially the mechanical engineering department of the college which is having well-qualified faculty members and well-equipped laboratories.
Other: The college is trying to improve the skills of the students by arranging different workshops and seminars.
It is arranging different national level events like scintilla and
has two Motorsport teams which have secured up to the second rank all over India.
A well-equipped library is also available with varieties of books.

Other: Infrastructure is good. Provides good hostel facility. But except 4-5 teachers in Mechanical Engineering, other teachers are not much enthusiastic towards teaching and you will find that in their normal teaching behavior. Actually they focus mostly on theoretical aspect of any subject rather than the practical aspect. Labs are good and equipment used are also of good quality.

Other: The college is not unique, but still different than other. The infrastructure is impressive, when you enter. The faculty members are also good and cooperative. At my time, there is somewhat low placement offers. The events like paper presentation, seminars are motivated. Overall, this is good.

Not entirely satisfied with academics.
Placements: There are no placements from college. College placement cell is not that much stronger, and they don't give any support for interview training. They don't have any personality development sessions, and there are very fewer placements from a college point of view. The college needs a proper placement cell.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. The college atmosphere is pretty much good, but college building required proper maintenance. The college workshop needs maintenance support. Machines used in college laboratories are old enough. The laboratory and classrooms need proper maintenance.
Faculty: Some teachers are very much helpful. Few teachers are not that much qualified. Some of the teachers are not having brief knowledge about subjects. Few faculty use proper English at the time of teaching. Some of them are very helpful during projects.
