RGITBT Admission Process 2025
RGITBT admissions are both merit and entrance-based. RGITBT is a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be a University).T he institute offers UG, PG, diploma and PhD programmes in various fields such as Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Medical Biotechnology and more. All these courses are offered under seven different departments, namely the Department of Sciences, the Department of Microbial Biotechnology, etc.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University does not offer direct admission without an entrance exam. The university accepts admissions based on valid scores in respective entrance exams. For example, the B.Tech program at Bharati Vidyapeeth University requires a BVP CET score. RGITBT BSc Admission 2025
At the UG level, the RGITBT has a 3-yr full-time programme. The programme consists of 6 semesters, each year consisting of 2 semesters. BSc is avaialble in Biotechnology and a student needs to score at least 156 credits to pass the exam. Admission to the BSc programme is based on a common entrance test conducted by BVDU, namely CET BBT. Students, who have completed 12th in the Science stream, can apply for the same. RGITBT MSc Admission 2025
The institute offers a MSc programme in three different specialisations. MSc is offered with a course duration of two years, with a total of four semesters. MSc admissions are done through an entrance test conducted by BDVU, namely CET MBT. A candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate in BSc, to apply for the same. Apart from the full-time programmes, the institute also offers a one-year diploma and certificate programme in Bioinformatics and Plant Tissue Culture. Admission to both programmes is done on merit basis. Candidates, who have completed graduation, can apply for diploma programme whereas, candidates must have complete Class 12, to apply for certificate programme. The final selection of students will be based on the marks obtained in HSC/ graduation. Eligibility criteria for both programmes is given below:

If a student chooses to withdraw from BSc at RGITBT, their fees will be refunded to them based on the following UGC guidelines for fee refund:
