B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.0
The college has a good fee structure, which I recommend for middle-class students.
Placements: Approximately 20% placed in technical companies. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Byju’s, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus. Many students also secure internships in reputed IT and core companies. The top roles offered are software developer, system engineer, business analyst, and sales executive. Overall, the placement opportunities are good for top students.
Infrastructure: There is good Wi-Fi and water cooler facilities to support students in online studies and research. Classrooms are spacious. They are equipped with projectors and whiteboards. The library has a good collection of books and reference materials. In the hostel, there is a proper water cooler facility, clean rooms with good beds and mattresses.
Faculty: Faculty members are talented in their studies. They give their full effort to help students. Most teachers are well-qualified, and the course curriculum is relevant as it covers both theoretical knowledge and practical applications. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it matches my interests and offers good guidance and support. Also, my brother wants to join this course. I am from the Electrical department, and I have learned new things after joining this campus. The college is developing new technology here, such as making smarter smartboards. Our batch is quite active in participating in fests, technical events, and extracurricular activities. This creates a good learning environment.

Average in studies but not good for infrastructure.
Placements: About 30% of students get placed in college. The highest package is 3.5 LPA. Top companies like Tata Motors, TCS, Mahindra, and Flipkart visit the campus. Every year, students are advised to do internships. All branches like CSE, ECE, EE, Mechanical, and Civil are offered at our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not very good, as it looks like an old building with poor maintenance. The campus has a well-equipped library and labs. The hostel building needs repairs. The mess food is not very good. Every year, annual sports events are organized on the campus.
Faculty: The institute does not have very qualified teachers, and faculty doesn't help much. They teach according to their methods. The college exams are not that tough. There are at least two internal exams before the semester exam. Almost 80–90% of students pass.
Other: The college doesn't organize events.

Quite well as compared to other technical semi government colleges in Jharkhand.
Placements: Approximately 40% of students were placed in this course. The highest package was 3800000 per annum, the lowest package was 3 lacs per annum and the average package was 5 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, TCS, Tata Steel, Lal Baba Group, etc. In the 6th semester, students get placements from companies according to their stream or branch.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good and attractive and the classrooms and library are quite peaceful and beautiful. Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus. The college hostel includes a mess and solar panels, which provide 24*7 electricity. Here we can see that the cleanliness is quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful and they have good behavior as they teach us in a very smart manner. They help us to enhance our technical as well as life skills, which further help us in our campus placements and further lives. They are very excited to teach us and we feel happy to study with those teachers.
Other: I chose this course because I was very interested in technical gadgets. That's why I love this course.

Review of Ramgarh Engineering College.
Placements: Since this is a tier-3 college, it doesn't provide very good companies. If you are smart, you will be placed in good companies like LTI, Hexaware, etc. Besides campus placements, students can apply for off-campus placements in their final year.
Infrastructure: Our campus provides facilities like DG, playgrounds, hostels, a canteen, a library, and smart classrooms. We have 3 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels. We have two separate mess halls for boys and girls. The quality of the food is quite good and the food is delicious.
Faculty: All teachers have done their master's from very prestigious institutions like IIT and NIT. They teach very well. Our course curriculum is decided by the university, which is quite industry-oriented. Semester exams are easy to pass. You just need to go through every point on the syllabus.
Other: I did my diploma in electrical engineering, so I chose electrical engineering as my undergraduate degree. Building more competitive minds will be a great advantage for student communities.

Review of Ramgarh Engineering College.
Placements: College doesn't provide placement. A very few kinds of placement have no worth. Last year campus placement was very low. Some students got selected for 1 LPA salary package which is low. We are given enough hopes that they are doing their best but is entirely different.
Infrastructure: Facilities like mess and Wi-Fi in the hostel, a good library with all sorts of books, and no medical facilities are available. Some students play basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, cricket, and football. There is a tournament at the university and some colleges invite you to their tournaments.
Faculty: Some professors are good and teach you to brush up on your skill. During your semester exams, you have to read your notes which is enough to complete the exam. Pass percentage is 12 out of 25. University exam is there where you have to score at least 35 marks to pass.

There are good placements in computer science engineering branch.
Placements: People from the CSE branch got good placement both on campus and off campus. Other branches people got placed in different IT companies like TCS, Infosys, etc. Some people are working in their core field. Some people scored good ranks in the GATE exam and they do M.Tech in good IITs.
Infrastructure: Labs were good and all equipment was present. The library was also good. You can issue any book. There was a good environment to study in the library. Wi-Fi was not available on campus. A canteen was present but not good in condition. You can play TT, basketball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: One or two professors were good in every branch of our college. Mostly, they are M.Tech. teachers. The principal was not serious about your career. You have to take care yourself. The training and placement officer was not good. They don't approach good companies. Exams were not so difficult.
Other: My branch was electrical engineering. In my opinion, it is a good place for preparation.

Review of Ramgarh Engineering College.
Placements: For placements, only IT companies come to our college. Most of the students get placed in off-campus drives. For core branch students, like mechanical, electrical, and civil, they have to learn to do coding if they want to get placed in IT companies. Otherwise, they have to prepare for GATE.
Infrastructure: From the infrastructure point of view, you won't be disappointed since you will get all the basic amenities needed. Wi-Fi, library, volleyball court, basketball, and a badminton court are available. The college also has a digital library, reading room etc. We have a total of 5 hostels, 3 for boys and 2 for girls.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, and they stand for you in any problem. Their teaching skills are at par, and you will learn many new things here. Semester exams are moderate to tough, but everyone can clear them with flying colors and get good grades.
Other: There are many events conducted in our college, like Techfiesta, Christmas gathering, Teacher's day, farewell, fresher's etc.

This college is good for a degree, not for those who really want to have campus placements.
Placements: The placement scenario is quite bad here. Although if you get a government seat in it (as it is a semi-government college) through counseling, it is a good place to prepare for competitive exams like GATE or ESE as it has a very low structure, and teachers here are quite liberal about attendance (at least for electrical department).
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is in between average to good. As it is a semi-government college and has a very low fee structure, it could be achieved by having a low rank too. The labs are equipped with good equipment for practicals. The classrooms are good and airy. The hostels are in good state.
Faculty: In the EE department, we did not have any PhD holders or such. The college is not good in terms of faculty as almost all of them have very less experience. The curriculum is quite good and adequate as it covers all the major aspects of the respective engineering department. The exams are conducted in a good manner such that you get your degree on time.
Other: There is only one fest called techfest. The crowd is not good as most of the students are from Jharkhand only. The management needs to improve a lot of things and funds to be raised for student welfare.
