Overall, a good college with free seats.
Placements: The highest placement of our college is 12 LPA, but the overall percentage of placements is not too good. Every year, the placements are dropping and the packages are getting smaller. If you are getting a free seat, then this is good compared to the private colleges.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are not too good, but if you study on your own, then this is good with infrastructure, and almost everything is present for a student who wants to study. In this college, you get a library where you can go during college hours and study.
Faculty: All faculty members are good and very helpful, and they help a lot to complete their syllabus, but they are unable to complete the syllabus. Within 1 or 2 months, there will be an exam, and your attendance is mandatory in this college. If we talk about overall performance, then our faculty members are better than similar types of private colleges.

Review of Ramgarh Engineering College.
Placements: In the year 2024, 65% of students got placed by the Tata Brulie Company, mostly from the CSE branch. Many students got top internships from Byju's, Aluminium, Steel, etc. In the year 2025, 70% of students got placed, most of whom were from core branches like Mechanical and Civil.
Infrastructure: There are free Wi-Fi facilities available with high-speed internet. There are digital classrooms available with digital boards. Mess charges for one month are approximately 3600, with three meals available. Sports facilities are also available for football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: In this college, there are very good teachers with high qualifications. They are always working hard. The question papers are of medium-level difficulty. The pass percentage is approximately 35%, and teachers take weekly tests and also complete the whole syllabus before the exam. There are four midterms throughout the year.

Campus environment with hostel life.
Placements: In the year 2024, 68% of students were placed by Tata, TPL, MPL, Steel, etc. Top recruiting companies for your courses are: data management, DBMS, etc. Most of the students get stipend internships when they are not selected in interviews. The company provides this for the enhancement of their skills.
Infrastructure: Hostel charges per year are approximately 18,000, and a canteen is available on campus. The mess facility charges 4,000 per month and provides three meals. An annual sports day is also organized each year. There are indoor and outdoor games available with instruments like volleyball, football, and table tennis.
Faculty: There is a very helpful faculty in all branches. After 2023, classrooms will be equipped with digital boards, and every department has a separate floor with Wi-Fi facilities available. Teachers will conduct mid-semester exams throughout the year and two final semester exams.

Affordable education with low infrastructure and low campus life.
Placements: Around 30 to 40 percent of our college students get placed, especially from the CSE (my branch) and ECE branches. The highest package is 9 LPA, secured by Harsh Dwivedi. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, and Wipro are the top recruiters. The top candidates are sent to the Techno Main Salt Lake campus for pool campus drives, as our college is run by the Techno India Group. Around 30 to 40 percent of students get internships in local companies, but some manage to get into companies like WordPress and Aditya Birla Group. The top roles are full stack developer, software developer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The departmental infrastructure is good for my course. There are enough computer labs, and Wi-Fi is provided in the hostel and library. The classrooms are in good condition, but the overall space is too small. The hostel is provided with Wi-Fi, but the bathroom conditions are not very good. There is a leaking issue on the ground and first floors. The quality of food available is average and not very hygienic, but when there are fewer students present, the quality of food improves. Badminton, basketball, table tennis, and a cricket court are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Where some teachers are helpful and some do not want to put that much effort into students. However, they help students if the student wants to learn. The teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is relevant, but a deep understanding of core concepts and extra knowledge is required to land a job, especially in this AI era. The semester exams are moderate level. Around 75 to 80 percent of students get passed in all subjects, and some get back in one or more subjects. Anyone with practical understanding and a bit of revision can pass the exams.
Other: The course is very relevant to my tech interest. As I want to become an AI/ML engineer, so it equips me with all the basic requirements like the mathematical concepts, system understanding, and database management systems. However, some extra effort is needed, which is legit. This is the best thing because it makes me learn as well as pushes me to explore. The things that can be improved are a more practical nature of the course by introducing modern world requirements like Gen AI, working collaboratively with AI, industrial collaboration, and entrepreneurial thinking. An annual tech fest is held.

Overall, the college is good. You can take admission here.
Placements: The placement is not so good, although the placement cell is working hard on it. In the future, placements might get better. As of now, I am not so happy with the placements. My seniors told me that this year they did not get any placement. Hoping placements get better next year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is old, around 13 years. Hostels for boys are not good enough, but the hostel for girls is in good condition. Boys' hostels are in very bad condition , the gate is broken, seepage is all over, and sewer lines are open in front of the hostel, giving a very foul smell.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, they are Ph.D. holders and very knowledgeable. The internal exams in this college are very hard to crack, as very good quality questions are asked. Generally, all students pass. If you study very hard, you can pass easily.
Other: Currently, I am pursuing my B.Tech degree in Ramgarh Engineering College as a first-year student, and my session is 2024–2028.

Good infrastructure, building, and rooms.
Placements: In my college, the placement is not that good, but top-scoring students get placed. A few top companies of Jharkhand come to our college, like Tata, Wipro, etc. Not everyone gets placed, but a few must get. Last year, 25% of students got placed from our college.
Infrastructure: Regarding Wi-Fi, the whole college has a well-designed Wi-Fi system, with well-designed labs sufficient for all branches. In my branch CSE, we have a few dozen working computers available. We have a good library too, which has sufficient books to give every student at least 5 books. We can issue books for one complete semester i.e., 6 months. It also has a separate study room where we can study in silence. But on behalf of the hostel, it's also good that we all get one close to shore our books and bags, along with a bed, one table, and fan, which is sufficient.
Faculty: Faculty are good and well-trained. They come from Techno India, Kolkata. All teachers are friendly and teach us very well. Our college exams are too tough, so really talented students only pass. Our passing percentage is quite low, it's only 60 % I guess, compared to last year's record.
Other: I chose CSE because, as we can see, modern technology is shifting towards artificial intelligence ( AI ), and my personal favourite is also coding. I love to code programs, which is the reason I chose CSE as my subject. No need to improve anything, everything is fine. In our college, fests never happened, but every year, annual sports and extracurricular activities happen, which are interesting.

Ramgarh Engineering College is a good college among B.Tech college, I'm really satisfied.
Placements: In my college, fewer students get placement, and fewer companies come to my college to give placement, and the offers given by the companies in my college are also low. The average package at my college is 3 to 4 Lacs per year, and the highest is 9 Lacs per year.
Infrastructure: My hostel has a high-speed internet connection and also an Aqua Guard water cooler for clean drinking water. Also has the mad facility available for cleaning the whole hostel, excluding rooms. Also, in the hostel, mess food is available.
Faculty: In REC campus, teachers are well-qualified and very supportive in nature. They are always ready to do hard work. Also, they take a monthly test according to the previous year's questions, and they will complete the whole syllabus before the semester exam.
Other: I chose this course because my parents want me to join this course, but after joining, I enjoyed the hackathon the most.

Good college and good infrastructure, you should try this college once.
Placements: Placement is good. If you are the top scorer in your batch, then you will surely get a high package, and according to me, 50 to 60% students get placement. The top company is TATA Steel. Regarding internships, 100% students get an internship. According to me, it's above average and good.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is good, everything is fine. Wi-Fi is not available. Classrooms are good, and labs have proper instruments. Mess is average, not too good. We used to play games and sports. Mess food, which we got, was not too tasty and quite oily, so they need to improve that.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained, and almost everyone is friendly. They give us projects from the 1st year, so this will help students build from the beginning. Semester exams are conducted by JUT, and exam papers are very, very hard. The passing percentage is quite low because of the difficulty level, it's around 60 to 70% I guess.
Other: B.Tech with computer science, I chose this course because in the current generation, Artificial Intelligence and computer science are taking major parts, and I also have an interest in the technology field. I love to code and build some apps and websites, that's why I chose computer science. Majorly, the fest, campus crowd, connectivity, and campus surroundings do not happen in my college. Provide a scholarship here.
