It has good infrastructure and facilities. Earlier, there were good placements.
Placements: In previous years, many students who did not have backlogs got placed, but in the last few years, the number has decreased. Placements in the core companies are few now. Earlier, most of the companies came to select students and train them. Now, companies are looking for skilled students. My college is autonomous, so now they are implementing a new system where in the 4th year, students can go for internships. The course structure is designed like that in the last year for the batch that joined from 2023.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and libraries are of good quality. Many applications can be accessed in labs, and there are many high-end software, boards, etc. The college infrastructure is very good. The environment is also good. I do not stay at the hostel, so I don't know the situation there, but I heard the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. There are more opportunities to do practical things. The new course curriculum is also good, and it is somewhat stressful because the number of core topics in a semester has increased. In the last year, the number of subjects has decreased to go for internships or give more importance to projects. Final exams are not easy, and we do not get direct questions, as there are all types of questions.
Other: Different scholarships are provided. It has many extracurricular activities, labs, availability of practical applications, etc. There are different fests in college, but it is finished earlier. I chose this course because electronics is a good course where both software and hardware are important.

M.Tech. in VLSI and Embedded Systems - Batch of 2022
4.6
5Placements5Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Highly recommended college for VLSI and embedded systems.
Placements: Rajagiri placement is almost 100% of our batch get most of the companies due to the Covid and VLSI boom. Intel, TCL, Wipro, Qualcomm, Vedanta, and many companies are coming to hire from college. Before completing a degree we have jobs in our hands first 6 months we need to work as an intern later we get a full-time job role. I got the RTL design engineer role, the package depends on the company you placed but degree students got more packages than M.Teach in terms of the highest. 5-6 lacs is the average package offered.
Infrastructure: Kochi is one of the most beautiful cities I come from Trissur it growing IT hub, infrastructure is like traditional Kerala architecture. College gives almost every facility from drinking water to a gym and many more. The library is a very quiet place best for studies. Rajagiri Hostel is one of the best more than 200 hostel rooms are available in double and triple sharing rooms. Rent is decent food has a variety like biryani to price, appam, dosa everything. For medical facilities, we have emergency treatment kits.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part of college very fun-loving, in the fest, some teachers are dancing with us. Teaching is also good but long teaching hours are frustrating. Teaching is not concept-based they assume your master's students know every basic so only explain concepts on PPT. The semester is back to back very few days are in between the two semesters. Exams are not easy to pass both internal and external need to be clear with good marks. The passing percentage of our batch is almost 95 percent.

Memories of Rajagiri and I am satisfied with college.
Placements: VLSI and embedded systems have promising career prospects; however, the placement rates are not as good as initially promised. Students often need to put in extra effort to approach companies themselves. The college does assist in securing internships, which are a part of the curriculum, although the stipend is quite low, around ₹15,000. After gaining some experience, companies like Qualcomm, Intel, and Foxconn tend to hire through both on-campus and off-campus drives. The average package for graduates is approximately ₹7.5 lakh per annum, with roles such as embedded engineer and similar positions being common.
Infrastructure: College life is boring there is only one fest in the year and that is for two days. The ongoing construction of a metro line near the college has led to heavy traffic and noise disturbances. With a high number of students and limited parking space, conflicts sometimes arise over parking spots, and the college is very strict in punishing any rule violations.
On a positive note, we do have Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, and a library. There is also a campus hostel, which I opted for; the food offered is decent, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options available. For sports enthusiasts, there is a sports ground where you can play games.
Faculty: College is very strict teachers are very strict, if anything happens it informs to parents. However, teachers are very educated and can handle and serve every student. The curriculum is very big study becomes a headache sometimes the syllabus is very big and the semester time is less, so study management is difficult. Teachers give deadlines for every activity no freedom. Exams are very tough need to focus on a full year no fun.
Other: VLSI is a growing field and I have an electronics degree so many people suggested and I thought it was the best option.

B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.4
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Strong academics, great facilities, and good placement rates.
Placements: Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department had 100% placements in recent years. While exact salary details for the EEE arena, overall placements saw salaries between 3.5 LPA and 15 LPA, with more than 150 companies hiring. Infosys, UST, and Cognizant are among the top recruiters. Graduates land jobs in both IT and core electrical fields.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities for studies. The campus has smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and two libraries for quiet study. The hostels aren't that spacious but are clean and well-maintained, with single, double, and triple-sharing rooms. The mess food isn't that good. A medical center with a doctor and nurse is available on campus.
Faculty: RSET has good teachers. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders. Students say they are helpful and knowledgeable. The course is designed to match industry needs, and the college is well-rated, so it helps students get ready for jobs. Exams are challenging but manageable. You need at least 40% in the final exam and 50% overall to pass.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2026
3.4

Life at Rajagiri providing excellence and discipline in Education.
Placements: The placements usually start mainly from the 7th semester. From what I know only around 40% of the students actually get placed usually from IBM, Wipro, and Cognizant for students in the IT and CS field. I had also heard of students rejecting offers due to low starting packages. Many also plan on going for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college campus is amazing, with a gym, a basketball court, a farm, and 3 blocks for lectures. It's a huge campus with 2 cafes and 1 big canteen. The hostel though I must say is pretty bad for a private college, especially for the first-year girl students. The hostel fee is usually around Rs90k per annum. The food used to be terrible back when I was in my first year. But after the first year, they shift you to the way better campus hostel. They need to build a hostel facility for first-year female students since they have to travel 20 minds to and fro just for college and they have to pay extra for the bus facilities as well.
Faculty: The faculty in our department is average. Not everyone is nice. Some don't grade us well while there are other professors who do set the questions papers very lenient and are very friendly to us. The subjects are pretty average but interesting. The difficulty may vary but as of now, it isn't that difficult. The curriculum I feel needs more practical knowledge, especially in robotics and machine learning.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in Robotics and machine learning. And I did find it interesting as the years passed by. I wish there were more resources and practical knowledge they could have provided for my course other than normal programming since AI &this is a pretty wide field where other practical knowledge can be incorporated as well.

Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology Review.
Placements: RSET is mainly known for their placements in Kerala. Most students opt for RSET because of this very reputation. The college tries their best to get you placed if we don't have any supplementary papers at the time of placements. The companies that come for recruitment include TCS, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities present on the campus in the hostel are really good. All departments have multiple labs for themselves. The libraries are well equipped to help the students and some departments have libraries of their own apart from the common one. The quality of the food in the mess is relatively better compared to other hostels and they regularly consult the student hostelers if there are changes to be made.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and would happily help us. The teachers are really qualified and some of the teachers rank among the top 3% of the world's scientists and have several Ph.D. The initial semesters are hard and it will be a grind and then it progressively gets easier.
