Chronicles of Rajagiri: Navigating excellence in education.

Placements: More than 75% of the students get placed after the course with an average annual package of 6 to 8 lacs. While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. The top recruiters for IT students are Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, TCS and South Indian Bank. Only a small majority of students got internship opportunities in Hitachi, Hexaware, Teach Mahindra, etc. Top roles offered for IT students include those of IT professionals in banks, web developers in various companies, software engineers, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. Classrooms are spacious and the labs are equipped with state-of-the-art tools and instruments, enabling students to explore the latest applications in today's dynamic world. Hostel facilities are also top-class. There are 2 sharing rooms as well as 3 sharing rooms with and without attached bathrooms. Every room has a study table, a study lamp, a bed, a changing area and a closet for each student. All items in the hostel room are in excellent condition and fully functional. The hostel food is exceptional in both taste and hygiene, offering a wide range of options that cater to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. In case a student falls ill during the working hours, a licensed nurse is there in the college compound to provide immediate first aid and dedication. If it requires more attention, there is an ambulance facility at the college to transport the student to the nearest hospital. After the class hours, students. Following class hours, students have the opportunity to engage in various recreational activities available within the college compound, including basketball, football, badminton, etc., catering to their diverse interests. Additionally, an annual sports day is organized, providing students with a platform to exhibit their talents.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, with the majority holding doctoral degrees in their respective fields. They possess extensive knowledge of their subject and are exceptionally supportive and helpful to students. The course curriculum is meticulously crafted to ensure its relevance, preparing students effectively for the demands of the industry. It is thoroughly designed, incorporating contemporary elements crucial for navigating the modern world. The syllabus prioritizes current topics and excludes outdated or obsolete content, ensuring students receive the most up-to-date education possible. By the end of the second year, the college evaluates all students, allowing only the diligent and deserving individuals to proceed while others are dismissed. Semester exams are a bit difficult and the marking scheme is also a bit stringent compared to other universities but the students are thoroughly briefed on it before the exams.

Other: I chose this course due to the robust growth of the IT industry in recent years, which offers abundant job prospects and lucrative salary packages for dedicated and industrious students. The course is very well designed for the students to attain the job of their dreams. There is nothing to improve about it. I would say that the syllabus should be updated every so often so that students are taught only the contemporary elements required for the modern world. Compared to other colleges, events are limited at RSET. There are two major events every year: Abhyanthriki, the technical fest and Bharatham, the arts and cultural festival. Other than that, there are annual sports days and a half-day Christmas and Onam celebration. The campus surroundings are very green, with clean air to breathe.

Our college provides good infrastructure and opportunities for a successful life.

Placements: In our college, more than 90% of students were placed in various companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, and Accenture. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The above companies were mass recruiters, and top recruiting companies like Microsoft, Zoho, Amazon, EY, Byjus, and IBM visited our campus.

Infrastructure: It is one of the best colleges in Kerala in terms of infrastructure. It had good classrooms and well-maintained outdoor sports facilities for basketball, cricket, football, etc. The cricket ground was top-notch, and many official matches took place, so you could guess how good it was.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, but the curriculum was a bit outdated. Now the college is autonomous. New courses and branches were being formed. Most of the branches were NBA-accredited.

Other: I joined during the COVID period, so most of the events and festivals were cancelled, but a few were excellent.

I am absolutely satisfied with good placements, faculty members and infrastructural facilities.

Placements: The placement cell of Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology is functioning effectively. About 85% of students were placed in different IT companies. Some of the companies which conduct the drives are Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, UST Global, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, BYJU's, Tech Mahindra, and many more. The average package offered is 6-8 Lacs per annum every year. Some of the students got good internships from different companies.

Infrastructure: RSET has the best infrastructural facilities among all other colleges in Kerala. The classrooms and labs are well organized and occupied with all the resources required for developing a student's technical knowledge. All the labs have AC and Wi-Fi. Labs consist of high-performing computers. The library is another well-defined structure in the college. All the infrastructure in the college and hostel keeps an international standard. The hostel also provides all the facilities required properly, and they are well organized. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is above average. There are no medical facilities present on the college premises. Sports and games are not given much importance by the management.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are really helpful and qualified. They provide help and support without any lack. The teachers are well trained, and they are very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Many teachers hold doctorate positions. Many friendly teachers will guide us if we are good to them. Following the course curriculum makes a student 80% ready for industry. The semester exams in our college are well organized, and the difficulty is based on the subject, and it can vary every semester. The students should score more than 40 marks out of 100 in the end-semester examinations (ESE). 75 marks out of 150 are required to pass the subject.

Other: Information technology is a software engineering technique for creating and implementing information systems. I chose this course as I like the technical field and explore more about the world of technology. The best thing about this course is that it is an endless field, and the students are placed for sure if he/she has the skills developed. There are many events conducted in our college for entertainment purposes, academics etc. The college is situated at the heart of Kakanad, which is very well developed, and all the facilities are available at a walkable distance from the college and hostel. Scholarships are also provided for students for their development.

Good placements, really good infrastructure and facilities, students and seniors are friendly.

Placements: Each year above 85% students get placed as per the stats. Average package of 5-7 Lacs per annum is offered. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, cognizant, Indian navy come for recruitment process. Students are placed in good companies with good packages.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, labs are well occupied with all kind of facilities. Digital library and high-performance labs also helps the students a lot. The ambience in the college is pretty good. The Chayakada on the side of the college is the main attraction and students' hangout corner. Food from canteen also tastes good and has varieties too.

Faculty: The faculty here supports you in all the possible ways though they are very strict. They guide and teach the students really well. The management in the college is really strict. All the faculty and professors are highly qualified. The guide us in every manner if we are good to them.

Really good infrastructure and campus placements.

Placements: About 90 % of the students are getting placed in our college. The placement cell in our college is well established and placements are from the top companies. The major companies who are recruiting are Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Bosch, etc. The eligible candidates are always getting placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well build and it suits every type of students who are studying there. The campus is spread over wide area with all the necessary requirements. The labs are separate for each of the department. They are providing high class labs and well-equipped classrooms.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and they are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant and they are making the students ready for the industry interface. There are other aptitude tests coaching and Gd coaching for the students at our college for making them placement ready.

No fun college life, and this college is meant for people who only want to study the whole time.

Placements: Placements in Rajagiri are good which means you'll get a placement for sure. So, there are 100% placements. But there's a condition that you should have no backlogs or supplementary exams to get a placement, that is, you need to clear all the exams. Many companies including Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, Bosche, Accenture, etc. visit the campus for placements. The college doesn't provide any internships; you will have to do an internship on your own. There's a placement cell too, and the average stipend offered is around Rs. 25,000 per month.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Rajagiri is one thing which I'd say is worth a praise. Labs are well-maintained and updated. Classrooms are spacious, and the benches and desks are of good quality. The campus overall looks very good, and there's a library too. There's no sports period but some people play, and the college doesn't pay much attention to it at times. The girls' hostel rooms are a bit congested. The food is alright, but the curfew time is 6:30 pm which is a bit too early. The boys' hostel is good. It is really well-maintained, and the food is also good. Their curfew timings are around 9 pm.

Faculty: Some teachers have the knowledge and know how to teach well. But some don't know anything, in the sense that, at times even students might know more than the teachers. So some teachers have poor knowledge, and some teachers don't know how to teach. As per the teaching methods, some use PPT presentations, and some teach on the board. Talking about the course, there are lots of assignments, internals, and presentations. When one thing ends, the other starts. It's a very boring sad life in Rajagiri. Also, it's a very strict college, your teachers may call home for petty and silly reasons.

Other: There's no college life in Rajagiri, the campus looks flattering but that's pretty much it, the events and fests are really boring and all technical. Mostly all students studying here are from very high financial backgrounds, and mostly all have a fake behaviour. Talking about the extracurricular activities, there's nothing except a arts fest Bharatham which too is very boring. As a whole, there's no life in Rajagiri. This college is meant for nerds.

Satisfied with the teachers and placements.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from my batch got placed in the campus placements. The highest salary offered was 6 LPA, the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, and Infosys visit the college for placements. Mostly, developer roles are offered to the placed students. Around 80% of the students got internships from the college. The stipend offered was around Rs. 5,000 per month. There is a placement cell in the college, and it is marvellous.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility, labs, and medical facilities are available in the college. Quality of labs and classrooms was good and updated. The food was affordable and of good quality, and it was not that expensive. Hostel rooms were good and were cleaned regularly. I haven't faced any infrastructure related issues.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was good. They use normal teaching methods to teach. Guest faculty members used to come and take seminars. We had lectures and workshops from eminent industry leaders and experts. The course curriculum was very useful.

Other: Techkshetra and Abhyathrik were organised in the college, and they were national-level competitions.

Completely satisfied with the college infrastructure, faculty and other extracurricular activities.

Placements: Placements were about 95%. Almost all students got placed with an average package of 3.25 lakhs annual salary. The major recruiters were Infosys, Wipro and CTS. Other companies like Microsoft, Samsung, Standard Chartered, South Indian Bank, Verizon, Accenture etc also took students through campus pool placements held in Rajagiri. A majority of students was taken for Software Engineer posts. If you study in Rajagiri and clear all exams before placements, then a job is assured 100%. They provide special placement training sessions which will include aptitude sessions, interview sessions, confidence building sessions, group discussion sessions etc. the placement cell in Rajagiri is extraordinary.

Infrastructure: Rajagiri provides one of the best infrastructures in private colleges in Kerala. Classrooms are digital classrooms. It has a digital library also which is very useful for students to attend digital sessions from recognised professors in other universities. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled but it is only accessible to lecturers and other approved groups. All labs are equipped well with devices needed for practical sessions. The college provides the service of one doctor and a nurse to help in case of emergencies. Other services such as cafeteria, canteen, stationery shop etc are also available with good servicing. Hostel facilities are good for boys as it is inside college campus and have less hostel fee also. But girls hostel is at a 15 minutes walkable distance and the hostel fee is too high for the given facilities. Overall, the college infrastructure is far good compared to other colleges we have seen.

Faculty: Faculty members use mainly powerpoint presentations for session delivery. They mentored us very well in all projects and seminar sessions. They even inspired us for poster/paper presentations and paper publications in recognised platforms. The teaching includes theory sessions and practical sessions in an equal ratio which was very helpful for gaining the practical exposure. The faculty members and course curriculum are very good in Rajagiri. It will help the student to achieve the maximum knowledge within a less span of time.

Other: Rajagiri not only teaches us what is there in textbooks. It will also teach us to how to be a successful professional in life and how to be a good person. Rajagiri has a special shop called "Honesty Shop" where books and other stationery items were kept open and the price is also displayed. Students can go and take items and put the money for that item in a charity box placed there, which will be used for the education of poor children. And this "Honesty shop" was always a huge success because of the social values students get from the college atmosphere.
