Overall, good infrastructure and facilities, and I am satisfied.
Placements: We had a strength of 65 students in our class, which is not much compared to other branches. We also had only one section. So the placement rate was probably around 7%. The highest package was Rs. 1 lakh, the lowest was Rs. 12,000, and the average was about Rs. 15,000. Companies like Keltron, KSEB, Tata, JSW, etc., visited for recruitment. Almost 99% of the class got internships in various companies such as KSEB, Cochin Shipyard, Keltron, etc. Roles included Electrical Engineer Intern, Grid Specialist, System Manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has really good infrastructure, with good cooling systems, clean bathrooms, very large compounds, and play areas. It also offers Wi-Fi, a library, and well-equipped labs. The quality of the hostel was mixed. Many students left the hostel in later years. It is very basic but manageable. The mess had special days when chicken biryani was served. Medical facilities were basic and could only handle minor issues like fever, headaches, and cough. Sports and games were highly appreciated. Students had full access to playgrounds and play areas.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and have very good subject knowledge. This is where I had an issue. I could not handle it for the first two years. The curriculum was outdated and taught us the history of how we got electricity in our country. As trends move on, the syllabus should be updated. Industry-relevant subjects only came in the final three semesters. Semester exams, in my experience, were mostly okay if you followed what teachers taught. Attendance was required every day, and it was also reflected in marks, even if a student was sick.
Other: I chose my course for its relevance in today’s society and to get a degree. The attendance issue I mentioned earlier is a huge burden. The education cell should reduce unnecessary subjects and provide only industry-relevant skills. My friends who got placed still face the issue of being laughed at because they have limited practical knowledge. These important skills needed for work should be improved. Everything else is really good. I have to say it is top-notch. Extracurricular activities and opportunities to build other skills were plenty. Everyone was supportive throughout.

The college has excellent infrastructure and supportive faculty, with good placements.
Placements: RSET maintains a strong placement record with a rate of 64-95% in recent years. For B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, approximately 60-70% of students get placed each year. The highest package is 8-10 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA. Top companies include TCS, Cognizant, Mindtree, and IBS Software. Top roles offered are design engineer, production engineer, and quality engineer.
Infrastructure: RSET has excellent infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms and well-equipped labs, including Mechanical Measurement Lab, Heat Engine Lab, and Fluid Mechanics Lab. There are several seminar halls for academic activities. The campus has a medical centre with at least a nurse and medical staff. There are multiple outdoor courts for basketball, football, tennis, and a cricket ground. The canteen food is above average. The institute offers hostels for both boys and girls. Rooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. They are of two types, two-sharing and three-sharing. The food in the hostel mess is also above average.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-educated and qualified. Many with PhDs or pursuing them. Overall teaching quality is good. Since the institute became autonomous in 2020, there is a focus on industry-oriented and relevant topics. This ensures that the students are industry-ready and equipped for the future. The semester exams are a bit challenging but manageable with consistent effort. The pass percentage varies around 70-95% depending on the course or branch.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. Earlier, there were good placements.
Placements: In previous years, many students who did not have backlogs got placed, but in the last few years, the number has decreased. Placements in the core companies are few now. Earlier, most of the companies came to select students and train them. Now, companies are looking for skilled students. My college is autonomous, so now they are implementing a new system where in the 4th year, students can go for internships. The course structure is designed like that in the last year for the batch that joined from 2023.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and libraries are of good quality. Many applications can be accessed in labs, and there are many high-end software, boards, etc. The college infrastructure is very good. The environment is also good. I do not stay at the hostel, so I don't know the situation there, but I heard the hostel is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. There are more opportunities to do practical things. The new course curriculum is also good, and it is somewhat stressful because the number of core topics in a semester has increased. In the last year, the number of subjects has decreased to go for internships or give more importance to projects. Final exams are not easy, and we do not get direct questions, as there are all types of questions.
Other: Different scholarships are provided. It has many extracurricular activities, labs, availability of practical applications, etc. There are different fests in college, but it is finished earlier. I chose this course because electronics is a good course where both software and hardware are important.

Great place to join if you want to learn. It's less like a college and more like a school.
Placements: All seniors get placements. There are a lot of companies coming. There is a test for 32 LPA but no one gets it. So if you believe you are capable you can get it. One of the students with whom I am familiar got 6 LPA. So there are opportunities. The highest package someone gets is 11 LPA I believe.
Infrastructure: The breakfast is bad but the lunch is great. The dinner is good on certain days. Hostel facilities are good for the first year, then if you are willing to pay more you can have better ones. There are many rules and anything and everything requires too many letters to write and sign.
Faculty: Teachers are always willing to help out and they actively ask if help is required. They teach you like you are in school. If you are joking about the college experience and bunking classes this is not the option for you. Missing one day of class can cost you anywhere from 3 to 10% in certain subjects. Since it is autonomous they follow their own syllabus but Dhiren differs too much from others. The exams are relatively easier.
Other: There are no fests for enjoyment of the like. The fests here are often dull. There are many activities for skill development and prizes but nothing like any entertainment that goes on for more than a day.

Strong academics, great facilities, and good placement rates.
Placements: Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) department had 100% placements in recent years. While exact salary details for the EEE arena, overall placements saw salaries between 3.5 LPA and 15 LPA, with more than 150 companies hiring. Infosys, UST, and Cognizant are among the top recruiters. Graduates land jobs in both IT and core electrical fields.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities for studies. The campus has smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and two libraries for quiet study. The hostels aren't that spacious but are clean and well-maintained, with single, double, and triple-sharing rooms. The mess food isn't that good. A medical center with a doctor and nurse is available on campus.
Faculty: RSET has good teachers. Many teachers are Ph.D. holders. Students say they are helpful and knowledgeable. The course is designed to match industry needs, and the college is well-rated, so it helps students get ready for jobs. Exams are challenging but manageable. You need at least 40% in the final exam and 50% overall to pass.

Computer Science and business systems at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: I think some percentage of students get placed here. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3.5-4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, and more local companies visit the college to hire students. I believe TCS does give an internship, and I am not aware of it. Since it is a business-related course, students tend to get placements related to the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It is a beautiful college. Labs are very well-sorted. The college has enough systems and all the specific labs for other subjects are also very good. The atmosphere is also very pretty. The college is very green and clean.
Faculty: Our course has six subjects. Our course is a bit not hectic because there are a lot more subjects, but there is no engineering graphics or chemistry in the first year, which is a different advantage. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is very set out for the current generation. It is very good as it helps us a lot for the future and it is building more management. The college should focus on students who are capable of managing business.

KEAM is the entrance exam required to get admission in the BTech course at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology. However, students can get admission without KEAM also. Some seats are reserved by the management on the basis of category, depending on the specialisation.
