RVR and JC College of Engineering (also known as RVR and JC) is a private institute, established in 1985 in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 1066 students were admitted at RVR and JC College of Engineering and 991 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 991 students 645 were placed with median salary of INR 350000 and 112 students opted for higher studies. A total of 1091 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at RVR and JC College of Engineeringand 902 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 902 students 712 were placed with median salary of INR 400000 and 82 students opted for higher studies. PG Degree (2 year) : In year 2019-20, for 2 year PG Degree, a total of 155 students were admitted at RVR and JC College of Engineering and 123 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 123 students 19 were placed with median salary of INR 275000. A total of 159 students were admitted in year 2020-21 for 2 year PG degree at RVR and JC College of Engineeringand 117 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 117 students 47 were placed with median salary of INR 400000.

Academic Scholarship
The college provides generous financial support to the students coming from low-income families (Family income less than Rs. 1,00,000/-) The amount of scholarship money disbursed in the past few years is as follows:

Scholarship Scheme
150 Scholarships to JD/JW and 100 scholarships to SD/SW of Rs.2000/- each awarded annually to meritorious NCC Cadets who have undergone two years training with minimum 60% attendance.
1. JD/JW - 10th pass with minimum 70% marks in aggregate.
2. SD/SW - 10+2 or Pre-Degree/Pre-University/Diploma in Polytechnic, with 70% in aggregate of science stream & 60% of art/commerce stream.
Note: Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST. Bonus 10% marks on securing minimum percentage as above to SC/ST/OBC.
Financial Assistance to the NCC Cadets & their Families:
(a) 1.25 lakhs (Due to high risk NCC activities).
(b) 1 lakh (During other NCC activities)
(c) Injury Reimbursement of upto Rs.1lakh for specialised treatment in case of permanent disability and upto Rs.50,000/- for normal treatment.
Financial Support to NCC:
Funding of the NCC is the dual responsibility of Central and the State Governments. Matching support from both these sources is therefore a mandatory requirement to ensure functional efficiency of the organisation. The State Govt. bears the liability for the following expenditure:-
1. Pay and Allowance of State Government Employees in NCC Organisation.
2. Office Accommodation, Furniture, POL etc. in respect of Gp HQ and Units.

RVR and JC cutoff 2024 has been released for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET courses as opening and closing ranks. Candidates seeking admission must aim to achieve a 45% to get some specific courses.
