Placements are good in any branch. Infrastructure must be improved.
Placements: Nearly 85-90% of the students in our college were placed. TCS intakes nearly around 300-400 students in our college, which is 40% of the total placements. The highest package is 15lakh/Annum. The lowest is 3 Lacs/annum and the Average package ranges around 4.5-6 Lakhs. TCS, Accenture, Amazon recruits 1-2 students. Many students got internships who performed well in their academics. 60-70% of people got internships from my branch i.e. CSE. Not only from CSE all other branches get placements if they are good in C-Language.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in all hostels as well as in college. Equipment in labs is good enough for all your needs. Classrooms are well structured with an excellent faculty. There is a big central library where you can find any reference books related to your branch and you can even prepare for UPSE from the books present in library. The food quality is good. The value for money especially in education is outstanding.3 canteens are there in college where you can find any breakfast/ snack item/ lunch/ dinner and many more. Medical facilities like emergency services must be improved in college. Basketball, cricket and volleyball are also played. A gym facility is also available.
Faculty: Yes, all the teachers are well experienced and with a minimum qualification is M.Tech. Quality for teaching is good and it's based on the particular approach of the teacher. Yes, the course is curriculum relevant and makes students ready for industry. Semester timetables are based on JNTU. The difficulty is based on your preparation levels. A student should get minimum of 40 marks out of 100 to pass.
Other: I chose CSE because I have an interest in this subject. The way of dealing with the subject is outstanding. I think the faculty to student ratio should be improved and I hope it will happen in future. Our college has 4600 B.Tech and nearly 350-400 M.Tech students. During my time there is no scholarship but now CM Jagan is giving full fee reimbursement and 20000 extra for meeting his/her own needs. Finally, the atmosphere is really good.
