SRM M.Ch. Bhawanipatna in a Nutshell.

Placements: It's a medical college so here placements don't play in role. We graduate with a medical/MBBS degree after 5.5 years. Each batch has 100 students and if all pass everyone gets the degree as an MBBS doctor who can practice anywhere and earn a decent amount.

Infrastructure: The academic block has excellent infrastructure with multiple lecture halls, seminar halls with well-equipped smart boards, air-conditioned, etc. There is 3-storeyed library with the availability of all 19 subject books. Library has AC, washrooms, etc. Hostels are good with proper facilities, separate boys and girls hostel. Each room is 3 bedded with bed, study table, chair, and one almira provided to each student. Mess problems do exist but get resolved too. Cafeteria is functional for tea breaks and snacks in the evening. Badminton courts, volleyball, and football courts are present.

Faculty: Pass percentage in MBBS is 40% in theory and 60% in practical so all the faculty members make sure that students are well versed with their course and the pattern of syllabus. Every two months internal examinations are conducted with practice tests every once in a while.

Other: MBBS is a noble course and getting a seat in government medical college is more than tough these days. If you get into this college via counseling, don't hesitate just take it. It's a new college with very nice infrastructure and main focus is academics.

Satisfied because of faculty members, good placement is there and good infrastructure.

Placements: All the students will be placed as it is a government college. The package range from 6-15LPA. Average package of 10LPA is offered. We get recruited in government hospital. 100% students get internship in our college and that too in government hospital. Top roles are tutors to HODS.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good we have Wi-Fi, all the labs are well-equipped with every instruments The classroom have smart teaching system and projector is there. The library have every books necessary for the students. Hostel is well-equipped with B.Ed and cupboards and mess is also very good.

Faculty: Yes teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is superb. Yes MBBS is very relevant and it makes students society ready for being a doctor. The exams are a bit difficult and the pass percentage is 50%. If you study well you can ace your exams.

Other: To help people I choose to became a doctor.

Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply,he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
