I am not satisfied with the college.
Placements: Placements in this college are very poor. There is nothing in this college. Below-average students get placed in this college. The teaching quality of this college is not good. Many students get placed on their own hard work. I can say that the college is not good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is below average. A limited number of classrooms are available. Classrooms are very small, but seats is increasing day by day. The hostel is good. The mess and canteen facilities are below average and not good.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful or knowledgeable. They only see the book and teach us. The course curriculum is relevant, but the teaching quality is not good. It is very difficult to pass exams in the semester. The pass percentage in this college is below average.
Other: It has a good campus.

I am satisfied with this college. Don't judge it solely based on campus size.
Placements: In this year, 70 percent of students were placed already, and the highest package offered in SUIIT in the electrical branch is 12 lakh per annum, while the lowest package is 3.4 lakh per annum. The average package is 5.4 lakh. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and Tata. Internships are not provided much; students have to search for their own. The top roles offered are junior managers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is small but provides all necessary amenities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, etc. The college also has a good library. The rooms in the hostel are good, but the availability of food is not satisfactory. As a first-year student, we are staying in a different hostel from the main one, and there are no sports facilities. The mess food is the worst, but seniors have told us that it improves in the main hostel where we will shift in the 2nd year. I don't know why they housed us in a different hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and have obtained their PhDs. The teaching quality is good compared to private colleges. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant; it prepares students to be placed in a company. The semester exams are quite difficult, but the examination process is very strict, with a pass percentage of about 80 percent.
Other: I have an interest in electrical engineering, so I chose it. Many companies come to our college for recruiting EEE students. All things are good, and soon this college will become IIIT, making it a good choice for upcoming students to grab more opportunities. All activities are conducted here, including fests, and scholarships are also provided to the students.

I am dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. It needs to be improved and works more in making contacts and inviting more companies for the recruitment process. The institution should also conduct a pre-placement programme for better preparation and make students placement ready. The institution should submit their portfolio to better companies like Oracle Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, etc., for the recruitment of the students. They should also tie-up with other institution for pool campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It needs more infrastructure and facilities for studies and extra co-curriculum activities for students and lab activities. It requires better-equipped machines for conducting experiments in laboratories. The institute needs a good environment having playground, cafeteria and different clubs room so that student can indulge themselves at other activities other than studies, which helps themselves to improve their co-curriculum and enhance their capabilities.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good but require faculty members with good communication skills and can represent their subject in front of the classes very well. The review of all the students on the faculty members should be taken seriously and work on their weakness for better teaching experience.

Q:   Which is the toughest subject in B.Tech Electrical Engineering course?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The subject that is tough for you might be very easy to study and grasp for your friend, who finds it interesting. For example, you may find Electromagnetic Wave Theory very tough because of the various technicalities and Engineering theory that it deals with. But, for your friend, it might be fun to learn, as it gives them a channel to learn, explore, and experiment with something new.

Q:   Can I customize the BTech Electrical Engineering syllabus as per my interests?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The Electrical Engineering subjects for a BTech degree includes both core as well as elective subjects. The core subjects are mandatory for all the students to study in all the 8 semesters as they give you the foundational knowledge important to excel in the field in the future.

Talking about the elective subject choices, you do have some scope of customization there as you can pick the subjects as per your interests and understanding, the ones you find easy-going and fun to study and something you would like to take forward in your career. A few elective subjects in the BTech EE syllabus are VLSI Technology, Power Systems and Electronics, Control of Electrical Drives, etc.
