Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) - Batch of 2025

Review of Santhiram College in Shiksha.
Placements: My batch is in the Pharma.D course, which is a 5-year course with a 1-year internship. It is a course similar to the MBBS course but based on pharmaceuticals. The highest package is up to 5 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA. The recruitment companies are mostly pharmaceutical companies. The roles offered include assistant doctor, pharmacist, and drug inspector.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good, and I love it the most. Facilities are good, and the hostel facilities are the best among other colleges. However, sports are disappointing in our college. The mess food is native and super, with no problems. Labs, classrooms, and library are all A-grade.
Faculty:
Teachers are highly qualified, and there is no doubt about that. The teaching faculty is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, but some subjects are not directly related to this course. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 70%. For those who fail, there is a supplementary exam.
Other:
I choose this course to become a doctor. I tried MBBS, but I didn't crack the exam, so I got a free seat in the Pharma.D course. Clinical practice is improved. Events and fests are held, and the crowd is okay. Connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are fine, but since it is on the national highway. There are no scholarships available.

This college provides the best and easy courses for the students.
Placements: Around 90% of students were placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Appolo and Reddys laboratories were the top recruiting companies. Drug analysis was the top role offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure were available. Wi-Fi was enabled in this college, and the library was also provided. The hostel facility was good, and the quality of food was also fine. Sports were also available in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. This course makes the students ready for the industry and work. The semester exam was not easy.
Other: The campus was very big, and the crowd was huge. The best thing about this course was to get knowledge about medicine and the quality of the drug.

Placements: About 100 students in our course are placed. The lowest salary package is about 2.5 LPA. The highest salary package is about 7.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Apollo, Reddy's Laboratories, and Santhiram. About 85% of students got internships in our course in those companies. Infrastructure: Lab facilities, chemicals, and instruments in the labs are good. The infrastructure is normal and neat. The quality of the hostel is good. The quality and taste of the food are good. The mess and canteen are good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and the way they explain the course is good. They are knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too difficult, and the pass percentage is above 85.

This college worthful for local students.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed on campus. The highest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Dr. Reddy's, Hetero, Divis were the top recruiting companies. Internships were provided by this college, but they encourage to get internships from the companies. R&D is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: In this college, classrooms were very spacious. Wi-Fi was not available. The library was available but updated journals were not available. Study textbooks were available, and the quality of the food was good. Medical facilities were available at all times. Sports were conducted by this college.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable and qualified. Semesters exams were conducted by JNTUA. Exams were conducted twice a year. Pass percentage depends on batch, industry exposure was not available. Exams were conducted strictly and mid-exams were conducted for semester preparation.

It is not worthy and needs improvement in all aspects especially in the practical part.
Placements: Only a few students got placed. Top companies like Hetero, Divis, Omega Health Care visit the campus but they did not provide any internships. No top roles were offered. Even the salary packages offered were also not up to the mark. Many students will not join the roles offered by the placement cell.
Infrastructure: There was no proper equipment in the laboratory and its maintenance was very poor. There was no updated software available. No Wi-Fi was provided and the computers were not working properly. The medical facilities were good. There were no games and sports training and guidance. The hostel was good and the food served was tasty.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified but there was no proper coaching for competitive exams. Teachers will not deal with the subjects. Sometimes particular subject teacher deals with the other subject so there will be no clarity to the students. Semester exams were conducted by the university.

I'm absolutely satisfied because of faculty members, good placements and really good infrastructure.
Placements: About 80% of the students were placed from this course. The highest salary offered is more than Rs. 80,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is below Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Recruiting companies here are Divi's Labs and many pharma companies. Students get internships in Santhiram Hospitals. Around 70% to 90% of the students get internships. Roles offered in this course are pharmacist, drug inspector, etc.
Infrastructure: In our college, there is a huge library with many books. There is a separate lab for pharmaceutics, chemistry pharmacology, pharmacognosy, etc. There are many classrooms with separate sections. The hostel is also available near the college, and the quality of the food served is good. There are many facilities and a canteen. Sports and games are also available.
Faculty: The teachers here are really helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is perfect, and they are friendly with students. They clear every doubt of students. This course is relevant to the curriculum, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a pharmacist. I would like to improve my skills and knowledge. I participated in events, extracurricular activities, etc. Scholarships are also available.
