Review of School of Bio Technology, IFTM University.
Placements: Placements are not good in our college. Only a few students got placed in our college. Many companies visit our college for placements to recruit students. There are many placement offers for biotechnology and other department students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides facilities like a garden, a well-maintained library, and clean classrooms. The Wi-Fi system is not good. The hostel is good. The sports department is much better.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, helpful, and well-qualified. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is 60%.
Other: Our college needs some improvement.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Almost 99.99% of students from our course get placed. The highest salary offered in our course is Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 25,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Amul, Parle, Britannica, pharmaceutical companies, microbiology labs, etc., visit the college for placements. Only the toppers get the internship from the above-mentioned companies. Roles like microbiologist, lab manager, QA and QC, lab technician, food specialist, nutrition expert, etc., are offered here.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and a library are well-settled 24x7. The quality of the facilities available in the hostel is 24x7 pure drinking water. The hostel rooms are neat and clean with proper guidelines of Coronavirus pandemic. The food served in our mess and canteen is very delicious. The medical facilities are always available 24x7. Our college has a sports club, and it conducts a sports festival every year.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us with all of their heart, knowledge, and experience. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes you ready for the certified industries. Semester exams are good and conceptual. Students need to score 60% to pass the exams.

Dissatisfied because of placements in 2018. There are no extracurricular activities.
Placements: There are no placement opportunities for B.Sc. biotechnology students and for M.Sc. biotechnology students. They are provided only if a student scores more than 80% in academics. If some students get placed somewhere, they are not offered a salary of more than Rs. 14,000 per month. None of the companies visited our campus for placements, mainly in our building. They don't provide or conduct any internships. We have to do internships on our own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good like other good colleges. Buildings are clean and in good conditions. The library and classrooms are good. Some labs are good and have all the chemicals and utensils, but some are not. Medical facilities, sports and games are available on the campus. State level competitions are held in badminton, football, and volleyball, etc. The quality of the food served some of the outlets in the canteen is good. Mainly fast-food is available, and vegetarian food is served in some of the outlets. Quality is okay, but there is no hygiene. Hostels are good. Rooms are good, but the bathrooms are in very bad condition. All the mosquitos are flying around the sheath, and lizard and other insects are also there. The quality of food served in the mess is the worst. It has no taste, and sometimes we find insects in food or vegetables. Overall there is no hygeine.
Faculty: All teachers in our department are very helpful, qualified, and knowledge. The quality of teaching was good. Some of our teachers are qualified from IIT Roorkee and have much knowledge. They use blackboard and oral lecture for teaching. We didn't get any industry exposure. Our course B.Sc. in biotechnology is a good course.
Other: Events are conducted only once a year or sometimes. There are an annual sports week and annual function conducted every year. Only some of the students participated in sports week or annual function. There are scholarship facilities for SC/ST and OBC students, not for general students.
