SHUATS BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Eligibility, Selection Process & Fee

For applying for BTech at SHUATS Allahabad one must have completed 12th from CBSE or UP board with atleat 50% marks for general category and 45% for reserved category.

Students have to pass the 12th exam with 50 percent marks for general and 45 percent marks for reserved categary if you don't get it then university doesn't give admission in any case then you have to pass the entrance exam but if you have failed to give the entrance exam still you have to fill the form for admission which is approximately 2000 Rs then you have to contact the director for admissions for the subject in which you want to take the admission. If seats are left in that subject after counselling because first they give chance to the students who have cleared entrance then after if seats are left they give admission to the students who want to take admission but missed the entrance exams if seats are available.

Firstly, SGPA is calculated in each semester. Credit is allotted to each subject some subjects are for 2 credit some are for 3 upto 7 credit. SHUATS offers a full-time BTech course with 14 specialisations. Admission for a BTech course is subject to a valid score in the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET) for Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology and Dairy Technology specialisations. For the remaining BTech specialisations, admission is subject to online counselling conducted based on the basis of merit (in the last qualifying exam).

SHUATS offers a total of 1250 seats for the BSc programme. The distribution of seats among various BSc specialisations varies. As per SHUAT MBA seat reservation policy, 50% seats for candidates of the Christian community. Candidates seeking admission to these seats must attach proper community proof while applying for the prefred course.

SHUATS admissions for BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, BSSc (Hons) in Horticulture, and BSc (Hons) Forestry are subject to a valid score in the SHUATS Online Entrance Test (SOET), followed by the offline counselling process.

For all the remaining BSc and BSc (Hons) courses, admission is subject to an online counselling process. In this process, seats are allocated based on merit in the last qualifying examination.

SHUATS conducts an online entrance test (SOET) for the selection of students to a few of the BSc courses. The 2025 schedule for the exam has not been released yet. However, based on previous year's schedules, SHUATS 2025 is expected to be conducted in the month of July. The registration process for the same generally starts in March and lasts till June.
