Campus life is the best as you enjoy every moment.
Placements: Hi, I am Mukul Sharma. The placements at IFTM are not as good as they should be. During my attendance, only four students were selected through campus placement, and they were hired by only one company: Frost Agro Products Pvt Ltd, based in Thakurdwara. You will also need to seek out internship opportunities yourself, as the college does not assist.
Infrastructure: There is no proper instrumentation for the lab, although the classes are good. The best part of this college is the library; I have personally visited it many times and found all the books I needed available on campus. However, the food in the canteen is not good, as there are limited varieties, while the food in the hostels, like the mess, is better.
Faculty: Teachers at IFTM, especially in the School of Biotechnology, are caring individuals. They are knowledgeable and helpful to the students. The teaching quality is good, although it also depends on the student's engagement. Overall, I can say it is satisfactory. The curriculum for my course, M. Sc. Food Technology, is well-structured and prepares us for industry readiness. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty.
Other: I chose food technology at the suggestion of someone. The events in college are moderate type. No celebrities are invited to the annual function of the college. Extra activities, such as sports, are conducted. Scholarship is also good.
