Scholarship based on Academic Performance:

Offered Scholarship (from second year onwards):

- Students who have got 1st Order of Merit, will get 20% Scholarship of the tuition fees.
- Students who have got 2nd Order of Merit, will get 15% Scholarship of the tuition fees.
- Rest of the eligible students will get 10% Scholarship of the tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions:
- The academic performance scholarship is applicable for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Global Pathway Programs.
- In case of a tie, CGPA will be calculated up to the third decimal place.
- A minimum CGPA of 8.5 is required to qualify for this scholarship. However, the scholarship will be awarded to 10% of the total students enrolled in each program (rounded up to the nearest whole number or a minimum of one student, whichever is higher).
- The student must pass without any supplementary exams. If a student fails to achieve the minimum CGPA of 8.5 or has an active backlog, the scholarship will be discontinued and can only be renewed in the next academic year if the eligibility criteria are met.
- Scholarships are awarded based on academic grades and attendance and will be granted annually after the declaration of results. For example, a scholarship based on 1st-year results (if eligible) will be reflected in the fee invoice for the 2nd year, and so on. Students must pay full fees for the 3rd semester, and the scholarship benefit will be applied from the 4th semester.
- Scholarships are awarded only until the pre-final year.
- A minimum of 75% attendance must be maintained.
- The student must have no disciplinary actions initiated or sanctioned against them and must comply with all university norms and policies as revised from time to time.
- The student must not engage in any act—whether by action or omission—that results in unlawful behavior, intentional defamation of the university brand by sharing content on digital, print, or social media that maligns the University’s reputation.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions for Scholarship based on Academic Performance (In Continuation with mentioned Eligibility Criteria):

- The scholarship is awarded only as a Fee Concession, Fee Discount, or Fee Waiver on tuition fees. The scholarship cannot be exchanged for cash/cheque, transferred to another course, campus, academic year, or semester.
- The Academic Performance Scholarship can be combined with Domicile/ Sports/ Employee Ward/ Employee Sibling Ward/ Employee Spouse/ Alumni Scholarship.
The decision of the Competent Authority shall be final and binding.

STUDENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT:

The University extends special financial support to students who are unable to pay the fee due to the loss of an earning parent after securing admission at UPES and submitting full fees for at least one semester.

Amount given as Support :
- The financial support extended by the University is a relaxation of ?50,000 towards tuition fees per semester until the last qualifying semester.

Eligibility Criteria & Conditions:
- The student must maintain or improve academic performance each semester.
- The student must not have any NC (Not Clear) or backlog in any semester. However, in exceptional cases, the Registrar can use his discretion and recommend the case to the Vice Chancellor for approval. This will not set a precedent for future cases.
- The student must have no disciplinary action initiated or sanctioned against them and must comply with all university norms and policies as revised from time to time.
- The financial support applies only to the upcoming semester(s).
- The support is provided only for one semester at a time. Students seeking an extension in next semester must submit a fresh application along with their latest grade card, once a notification is issued by the Department of Student Welfare (DSW).
- The University reserves the right to approve or reject applications at its discretion.
