DU SOL UG, PG, Certificate Courses 2025

Yes, DU SOL admission is open and currently ongoing for its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Interested candidates can visit the official website of DU SOL to register themselves for the desired course. The registration portal for both UG & PG is different and can be found on the university's official website. 

School of Open Learning admission to this course is merit-based only for the students of Delhi University. However, students studying outside DU need to appear for an entrance test conducted by Delhi University. For SOL MA admission, students are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility requirement set by SOL. School of Open Learning 50% of seats will be filled by direct admission (based on the merit of graduation scores) and the remaining 50% will be filled on the basis of candidates' performance in the entrance test and personal interview, conducted by SOL. 

Candidates seeking admission to the MA programme at SOL are required to register online on the PG admission web portal of the University of Delhi. SOL admission to this course is both merit and entrance-based. 50% seats of the total are filled by direct admission with the students of Delhi University only. The remaining 50% of the seats are filled with students who are not studying at Delhi University on the basis of their performance in the group discussion and personal interview.

The School of Open Learning, University of Delhi offers a BCom course for a duration of three years, which is spread across six semesters. The total tuition fee for School of Open Learning, University of Delhi BCom and BCom (Hons) courses is INR 1,500. DU SOL offers a BA course at the UG level for a duration of three years that is spread across four semesters. DU SOL admission to M.A. in History is based on DUET scores followed by the release of list of merit lists. Candidates seeking admission to DU SOL BA course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from a single recognised board. For SOL BA (Hons) admission, students need to pass Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 65%. It is also necessary that the aspirant hold the pass certificate to become eligible for admission.

DU SOL offers a wide-range of UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses through distance learning mode. The total number of seats available for MBA programme in DU SOL is 20,000. Candidates are admitted in accordance with this seat intake. Moreover, it must be noted that the mentioned seat count is taken from external sources. Hence, is subject to changes. As per the last year trends, School of Open Learning University of Delhi had released till the second merit list for PG courses MA and MCom in Dec 2022. DU SOL PG merit lists are released based on merit as well as entrance exams. After the release of DU SOL PG merit list 2023, selected candidates are required to accept seat in a given time period. If the confirmation of admission is not done before the final date, then the allotment is cancelled. Hence, there are chances that DU SOL will be releasing upto two merit lists for the PG courses.

Candidates who get admission to the MBA programme offered at DU SOL must submit the following documents during the application procedure as mentioned below:
