This includes the levels of prevention of diseases which includes the vaccination and the things. Around 80% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like Multilevel hospitals and around 70% of students get internships, and roles as a health inspector and such things are offered.
Infrastructure: It is a good course which includes the community level course. Facilities include, that has an individual hospital for students to practice courses. It provides Wi-Fi with air-conditioner classrooms, and a library with 5000 books. It has a big canteen with a madras cafe franchise in it, with a big indoor and outdoor playground in it.
Faculty: Teachers are well experienced and medical professionals and who love teaching. They love to share their knowledge with students. This makes students community-oriented and service-based. Semester exams are tough those who study only can pass. The minimum pass percentage is 50% of total marks in every subject.

Q:   Can I join SRM School of Public Health directly?
    A:

Bypassing the usual application gauntlet and directly joining SRM's School of Public Health is alluring, but navigating this path requires careful consideration. While direct admission might exist for specific programs and campuses, the standard route remains through the merit-based selection process. This involves showcasing your academic prowess through your 12th class marks (for B.Sc.) or entrance exams (for postgraduate programs), followed by an interview. Management quota seats might offer a shortcut, but they often come with higher fees and limited availability. Remember, the admissions department is your best guide through this maze. Contact them for the latest information and specific programme details. Ultimately, while a direct entry might be a possibility, focusing on strong academic performance and following the regular application process remains the most secure and recommended path to secure your place in SRM's esteemed School of Public Health.

Q:   Is SRM School of Public Health a good option?
    A:

Determining if SRM School of Public Health is a good option for you depends heavily on your individual needs and aspirations. To help you make an informed decision, let's break down the potential merits and considerations:

    • Strong reputation: SRM boasts a strong reputation within the academic field, potentially opening doors to reputable career opportunities.
    • Experienced faculty: Renowned and experienced faculty members can provide valuable mentorship and guidance throughout your studies.
    • Industry connections: Partnerships with established organizations offer internship and job opportunities, giving you practical experience and building valuable networks.
    • Practical learning: The curriculum emphasizes field visits, case studies, and research projects, preparing you for real-world challenges in public health.
    • State-of-the-art facilities: Access to modern labs and technology enhances your learning experience and equips you with relevant skills.

    Considerations:

    • Cost: Fees at SRM might be higher compared to other institutions, so budget constraints could be a factor.
    • Limited information: Detailed information about student satisfaction, placement rates, and specific course content might be harder to find compared to other options.
    • Large class sizes: Depending on your learning style, larger class sizes could mean less personalized attention from faculty.
    • Emphasis on academic merit: Admission often focuses heavily on merit (e.g., high school marks), making access potentially less flexible for students with average scores.
