Our college helps you to complete your degree.
Placements: Around 2-3 companies came when I was in the final year, which doesn't belong to our core branch. Still, we sit in the interview, and after the final round is completed, they say this job does not suit your profile. They suggest joining in some other company. It is a time pass of full-day when any 3rd-grade company comes for campus drive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and looks royal. There are the best classrooms, auditorium, big ground, a great basketball and badminton court. A God Saraswati temple is also available here. There are two hostels and a big mess with very good infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty members and course curriculum are very poor. All teachers are not available, and each teacher takes 2-3 lectures a day. They don't have proper knowledge of every subject. Sometimes lectures are empty because teachers are busy with some examination duties. Management is overall very bad.
Other: The yearly fest is the best thing that happens in Shankara Institute of Technology because there are lots of participation. Other colleges like Amity, Arya, JEC, SKIT and various college students come. There is a huge amount of crowd, and some special guests are also invited. There is lots of fun at this time, and we enjoyed a lot in total 10 days of the fest.

If you just want a B.Tech degree at any condition, you can join this college.
Placements: The college provides very few placement opportunities. Core companies do not visit the college for placements. The college doesn't provide any motivation, placement training or guidance. The placement cell is poor, and it is present only for the namesake. Around 10-15% of the students were offered placements. The salary package offered was 2.25 LPA. The college doesn't help students in getting internships. The placement cell was of no use.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't provide any Wi-Fi facility. Labs are good for the 1st year students. There are no proper labs for the students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. There are no medical facilities. The canteen was non-functional for most of the time in a year. Limited items like a cold drink and chips were available. Food served in the mess is poor. There is no proper hygiene and cleanliness. When we reported this issue to the director, he said that the students have come here to study but not to eat delicious food.
Faculty: Faculty members for the 1st year students were good. Labs and classes were organised regularly, but there were no classes, labs and teachers after the 1st year. Our faculty members are yet to clear their backlogs. They are very underpaid, unskilled and inexperienced. Teachers reported that their original marks sheet is with UPAT college management, so they prefer to remain silent.
Other: Fests are conducted in January, and they collect Rs. 1500 from students every year along with the exam fee. There was no receipt provided to any student ever regarding those Rs. 1500. Almost 70-80% of the hostel students were from Bihar.

If you want to spoil your future get admission in this college.
Placements: The placement for mechanical branch students is poor. The companies rarely visit our college and those who visit offer the salary of about Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 8,000 per month with a bond of 3 years. So, the placement from the college campus is only a dream for the students. The students even don't expect that they will get placed on our college campus placement.
Infrastructure: The indoor and outdoor playgrounds are present. There is an auditorium, where the college functions take place. There are laboratories, but the equipment present in the labs are not working and are not functioning. We don't perform even a single experiment. But if some expenditure is made upon the labs then the equipment can function well.
Faculty: The faculty members are inexperienced and lack the in-depth knowledge about the study matter. Our college is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, which is a poor one and they are just playing with the future of the students. The students prepare for the exams on their own. The students go to the classes only for fulfilling the criteria of attendance. So, in a nutshell, it's miserable.
Other: The events and the fests are good. We get the opportunities to take part in sports as well as the academic events, which is the only good thing about the college. The scholarships are provided to the students, who scores the highest marks in his/her first year. Other than that, the students get the discount during their admission by a bargain. The number of students is poor. There is no campus crowd as the branches don't get full. There are a lot of seats vacant for the admission.

I am dissatisfied with the placements in our department, but all other things are average.
Placements: Only one student was selected from our department in a company called Techkritya Pvt Ltd, and it was not a core company. The salary package offered was 2.25 LPA. No core company came to our college for an interview. Around 80% of the students got internships from campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities. All the classrooms were well and clean. The library was huge and good as books of various writers were available for every subject. Wi-Fi was available in the hostel but was chargeable. The quality of the food served in the hostel was not of good quality. Some common tablets were available in the medical box in warden room. Sports and games facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good. They were helpful to students and provided good knowledge. The teaching quality was also good but not the best. You should prepare yourself for the industry with good knowledge as the college is only the platform.
Other: I opted for this course because doing mechanical engineering was my dream since childhood. The quality of education provided should be best. They should change the syllabus with the latest technology. The college organises a National level youth Fest which is amazing, and various colleges come to join the fest. It was held for 10 days.
