Im totally satisfied with my course facilities infrastructure and all the facilities of our colleges
Placements: In branch atleast 60 percentage should be there to take ic branch. The highest salary 35000 will be offered if you are selected in the campus selection. Relaince came for campus drive. To operate turbine and boilers and controls of their system. The lowest package offered in our course 3lac and average 5 lac. From our college I think 15 or 20 days will be given for internship.
Infrastructure: In our branch infrastructure is good and Wi-Fi is also there classrooms and library are also good in facilities and infrastructure. Facilities of hostel is very good excellent mess food is also good and canteen is much good than other colleges. Canteen facilities is also good for students who come from far to attend the lectures for them canteen facilities is very excellent.
Faculty: Teaching of our faculty is superb, they clear all our doubts. Yup course is very useful in all industries because to control instruments like boilers, turbine how to operate, knowledge is relevant. If the students make effort and study well know the knowledge about the instruments and their controls it will be relevant for all the industry.
Other: Because I want how to operate the turbine and boilers of industries and other machines of industries so that's why I had choose ic course.

My college is better than every government college.
Placements: Placements in the college for my branch are good compared to any other government college. They are trying to improve more in the field of placements. Due to that, more placements take place in the college. They give seminars regarding the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is better than many other colleges. In this college, many facilities like hostels are also provided to students. Due to the infrastructure of my college, many companies visit the college and hire the students. They also provide sports ground for students to play games. The infrastructure is developing more and more. New buildings are also under construction.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are supportive in every field whether they are studies or sports or many other activities. They give us seminars for GATE, placements, and many other activities. They support us in all activities of GTU.
Other: In our college, we celebrate the annual day and tech-fest. They give seminars in tech-fest. The campus crowd is good. They provide scholarships to the students. They focus on extracurricular activities also.

I am satisfied with my college because I liked it. There is no college in Gujarat like SSEC.
Placements: Around 10% of the student were placed in placement. The placement cell gives salary as per government rules and their privacy. Reliance and Essar mostly visited the campus. They offered the student a role as per their talent. If any student clear engineering without any backlog then he/she selected for an internship.
Infrastructure: The high-speed internet connection is available in our college. The classroom and labs are neat and clean, but many students are not satisfied with the college canteen food because the quality od food in the canteen is not good. 24-hours electricity and water facility is available in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and they are always ready to help us at any time. The teachers use PPT presentation methods to teach us, and sometimes, they teach us from a book, but according to their teaching method. All the course curriculum is useful in the main exam. All the faculty members nature is modest, so they are always ready to help us.
Other: Every year, the techfest, sports week, and annual day are held in our college for the students.

Keep moderate expectations on this campus.
Placements: As it is a government college, don't keep many expectations from the placement. Some companies do visit the campus to hire the students. Reliance is the top recruiter for IC and the mechanical branch, but it recruits only one or two students, sometimes not even one. But you might get placed by the placement cell of the university.
Infrastructure: I must say, it has a large area for the campus, although a major part of it is vacant, and it still has the spacious infrastructure. All the departments have the adequate area for classes and labs. The Wi-Fi facility is available, and you just have to register your MAC address to the college server room. The library is average. The hostels have a capacity of around 600 students. But don't expect much delicious cuisine from the canteen or a mess.
Faculty: There are the regular lectures. Most of the faculty members are willing to help you whenever you need. There are around 2-3 faculty members for a class of 60 students per subject. But you might not get the proper industrial exposure here, and there are rare visits to industry, once a year maybe. You'll have to search for the internship on your own. But overall, there is a good atmosphere if you wish to learn a bit.
Other: The cultural activities in the college are good. You'll get to learn a lot from them. Also, there is a tech fest and sports fest once a year. So, if you're extrovert, then you might like the atmosphere here.

Change of life, gave me my way level up.
Placements: The placement standard in my college Shantilal Shah is average. In 3 years, I have seen that almost 45 students were placed through college placement interviews. Compared to other GTU colleges, my college is better. The companies like Reliance, GLP, Bhagwati and many more offer us placements.
Infrastructure: My college Shantilal Shah has 7 buildings. The 4 new buildings include a library also. I study in C-building which is the tag name of our building. The infrastructure is slightly different but not comfortable during summer. In the monsoon, it is very poor. My college alumni have built the new 4 buildings, which I mentioned earlier. So, the infrastructure is 70% good.
Faculty: My course is instruments and control. In my course, six permanent teachers + 1 HOD +2 assistant professors are working. On the other side, the civil branch has 12 sirs\madam which is not fair. The course curriculum has always finished by the end of dates.
Other: Almost every facility is available in my college like sports ground for cricket, football, etc. Also, indoor games like table tennis, carrom, etc. are available. The laboratory is very poor, but the library recovers it. Hence, Shantilal Shah is still my average choice.

Other: It’s a good college if you want to enjoy your college life. Lectures stress is least and you will have plenty of time to do extra curriculum activities. Shortage of faculty is there, but you can manage it through self-study. Placement records are not so good. College is situated near a rural area, which is approximately 10km from town, but doesn't worry rickshaws are available all the time. The campus is very big but not fully developed and doesn't trust the photos shown on their website. So overall, if you want to get a degree with least effort and you are not so serious about studies then go for this college guys.

A college with no proper facilities
Placements: About 30% of students were placed in our college. The highest package offered is 6 LPA, the lowest is 2.8 LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA. The major recruiters are Masibus, Schneider Electric, and Honeywell. 60% of students got internships from our college in Masibus, Honeywell, and many other industries. The roles are offered as Embedded engineer, Instrument engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is good and the labs are good but some instruments are not working. The classrooms are good, big and maintained clean. And the library is pretty much good and peaceful atmosphere are available in our library. Quality of food is best and medical facilities are also available there.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. Some also have PhD degrees. The course is good but for the new generation, there are not sufficient new technologies described in our books. The semester exams are hard, and the pass percentage is 70%.
Other: I chose this course because I like to work in the industry. For some improvements, new technologies and instruments should be included in our course. Events are good in our college and scholarship is also available.

Being perfect is not so good.
Placements: 1. Minimum 50% students placed. 2. Upto 50,000 PM was the salary offered. 3. Reliance was the top recruiter. 4. To roles were offered in machine work. 5. Upto 5lakh, 4 Lacs, 2 Lacs were the packages offered. 6. 60% students got internship.
Infrastructure: 1. As my branch building is old so infrastructure is also poor. There will be a good classroom minimum of 90 students can sit in one class without any problem. There also Wi-Fi in all branch. There is a library. 2. The quality of hostel is very poor as there was only one building in working condition is the drainage system in the hostel is worst, the bathroom condition is also worst. The lunch-dinner available in mess is not proper.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are very helpful for the students, they provide a good way of talking and thinking about Technologies. In my branch professor are very intelligent and knowledgeable. 2. The course curriculum is relevant. As doing practicals the student become ready for industry.
