Placements: Sharda University's B.Tech Biotech has 90% placements, with packages from 1.8 LPA to 9 LPA. The average salary ranges from 3.51 LPA - 12 LPA. Top recruiters are Biocon, Serum Institute, and Cipla. Roles offered are research associate, QC analyst, and bioprocess engineer. Many students secure biotech internships.

Infrastructure: Sharda University's offers Wi-Fi, modern labs (molecular biology bioinformatics), smart classrooms, and a vast library. Hostels have good facilities, mess food is decent, and canteens offer variety. Medical services are available, with sports and gym access.

Faculty: Sharda University's B.Tech Biotech faculty members are qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The curriculum is industry-relevant, covering practical and theoretical aspects. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, with a high pass percentage, ensuring good student success.

Other: I chose this B. Tech biotech because of my passion. I love to do work in the lab. Sharda lab is very clean and good as compared to other colleges. Fests are also outstanding. Overall, campus is very good.

Dissatisfied because of placements and internship opportunities offered by the department.

Placements: Mainly 30 percent of students got placed in some companies on a very basic 3 to 4 Lacs package. Students struggle to get placed. Also, the companies are limited. The lowest package is around 1.8 Lacs and the maximum package is around 5.5 Lacs. Lack of internships offered by the companies; you have to pay for internships. Bharat Biotech is the top company, and recently Jubilant blacklisted Sharda University.

Infrastructure: Everything is good except labs; there is a lack of basic equipment and chemicals in the lab. Students suffer a lot of time to perform practicals in the lab. Infrastructure is not that good in the biotech department. Lack of classes. Hostel food is bad. Medical facilities are very good. Lack of sports and games.

Faculty: Mostly teachers are top qualified, but some of them just came for the salary. Course curriculum changes every year; they add some new subjects and drop some. Every semester there is a lot of difference in the course year-wise. Recently they are more focused on computer science subjects like programming languages—Python and some other subjects too.

Other: I just chose by chance; I didn't have much knowledge about this university before admission, otherwise, I would never have come to this university. I wanted to pursue Masters for research. Biotech is best for research purposes in living organisms. There is vast knowledge to gain in biotechnology. I wish the department will start focusing more on research and lab work. At least five practical subjects should be there in every semester. Lots of scholarships, lots of other extracurricular activities to do. Students from many countries enough to explore different cultures.

Best collage with best infrastructure

Placements: Good placement on an average package of 9 LPA. Bharat biotech are the top recruiting company. Also teachers are there who would help you in placements. Placement practice are done so that it would be helpful. There are several rounds before actual placement starts.

Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure with best facilities in each block. Wifi facilities and water cooler available also classrooms are equipped with AC. Best building in that area also very beautiful campus. In each and every block there are atleast 2 to 3 labs also libraries are there.

Faculty: Teachers are totally helpful. They provide assignments and classwork. Semester wise it is not that tough but yes you have to work hard. They are also very helpful in our exams. Analytical and theory both questions are there. Mid semester and end semester are there with odd and even system.

Other: Best thing about this course is you can go in research and administration.

Sharda university's honest review .

Placements: Almost 90% were placed until the last two years. The average package offered, as mentioned on their website, ranges from 3.30 lacs to 12 lacs. Top recruiting companies at Sharda University for biotechnology courses include Apollo, Wipro, etc. (as per the latest information ). Various pharmaceutical companies and those from the agriculture sector also participate.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is overall nice. I reside in Mandela Girls Hostel, which is overall okay; they have cleaning staff as well. The food quality is above average, but not that nice. They sometimes pester you to take only a limited quantity of food to your room, saying, "Take it afterwards.". This behavior is not observed in other girls hostels on the college campus. But according to the infrastructure, Mandela is very nice.

Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and nice and is very knowledgeable and qualified. They have precise knowledge of the subject they are teaching and are well experienced. The practical subjects also help us broaden our knowledge of that particular subject.

Such a true words- The World Is Here, Where Are You.

Placements: For placement, every student has to score more than 7.5 CGPA. & also, those students who have scored a 7 CGPA might be placed completely. If I am talking about my program, the minimum package is INR 4.5 LPA, and the maximum is INR 7.5 LPA. Several companies like Pfizer, Bharat Biotech, and TCS come for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was too big. You have your personal space and a good environment around you; students are allowed to learn and motivated to learn skills in other sports and extracurricular activities; biotechnology labs are for exploration and interesting things that make up the mindset of every student towards studies.

Faculty: Teachers are very kind with their behavior; they explain every single point you want to know as well as the problems of your daily life. You just need to ask them; they always use to share their life lessons and experience what they have.

Other: I have chosen this course because, from the start, I have dreamed of being a scientist and serving my life as a professional in this field. New discoveries every day made my dream very enthusiastic and realistic.

Great experience as a student.

Placements: You will surely get placement no matter what because of the placement coordinators. They are very helpful in getting 100% placements. But don't expect to get placed in core jobs because very few core companies come to Sharda University. Mostly small business takes students as employees but provide a good starting package.

Infrastructure: During the time I was a student, the infrastructure was still upgrading, but now it's mind-blowing. You will get basically everything you need in a mini world- from cafes to restaurants., from small to huge libraries, from basic hostel to literally 5 star hostels.

Faculty: You have to study time subjects like History and EEE in biotechnology. The curriculum is set in such a manner that you won't be getting free time to enjoy a lot.

Other: Campus life is great. You get to interact with so many people from different places (national and international). .

Our college has good infrastructure, about 91% of campus placements, and good qualified faculty.

Placements: Sharda University is known for having the best campus placements which are upto 91%. The highest salary package offered for B.Tech have been 65 LPA. However, specifically for biotechnology, it's 20 LPA. Companies like Cryovivo, Omics International, Sun Pharma, etc., are the top recruiting companies in Biotechnology at Sharda University. About 80% of students get internships in companies like BDG Life Sciences, Rapture Biotech, etc. The top roles offered in biotechnology course are biomedical engineer, pharmaceutical consultant, marine biologist, researcher, etc.

Infrastructure: In our college, the classrooms are like any other classrooms. Air-conditioned and clean sanitized rooms are provided. Hostel rooms are comfortable with many students moving in with all facilities provided. However, hostel facilities depend upon the fees. Mandela hostel is considered the best hostel with its fees being the highest but all the hostels are decent.

Faculty: The teaching quality is nice in our college. Teachers are helpful and guiding. They surely excel in their field and would guide you. We have the Sharda Skills team that provides personality development sessions and make students ready to take the high road. The difficulty level is moderate and around 75% of students pass.

Other: Biotechnology is a growing field and the next big thing. B.Tech has always been something to do with maths and computers which is slowly changing by getting Biology involved. It can change our lives and develop so many new things for the human kind. However, I wish it'd start rocketing now because it's been neglected and the hour of need is now. Sharda University provides a better look into this course with good faculty, facilities, regular events, and seminars.

Some faculty members are good. It provides good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Biocon is a top recruiting company that visits our campus for placements. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship in many different companies according to their eligibility.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fabulous. The library looks awesome, and it has almost all the books of my interest. A Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs are moderately built with a limited amount of reagent and equipment. I am not a hostel student. The canteen is available here. There is a Sharda Hospital near the college. Medical facilities are average, but they chose only hostel students in sports and games because of time issues.

Faculty: Teachers are active and knowledgeable. Mostly, teachers are PhD holders. Most of the teachers teach amazingly according to their course. They try to make fulfilling accordingly to the requirements of students, but the labs are not always available for us. They made paper accordingly to how they teach us, and it is moderate. I can score well if I work hard. I have scored 8 GPA.

Other: I have chosen this course because it seems interesting, and the Sharda counselor suggested me so. Our college should provide labs and reagents. All things are the best in our college.
