Overall an average college.
Placements: Placement is so average for my course, i.e., Bachelor of Commerce. Internship opportunities are great. Several companies visit through the placement cell. The average package of placement is around 4 to 5 LPA. Most of the internships are unpaid or performance-based.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Our college offers one of the biggest libraries of off-campus colleges of the University of Delhi. Shivaji College does not offer the facility of a hostel. You need to opt for a flat or PG near the college. Canteen prices and food are average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some teachers are average, but the rest are good and supportive in nature. Talking about my course, i.e., Bachelor of Commerce, as we know it's not a very helpful course and does not provide much advantage. Semester exams are easy if you study a bit.

It has good infrastructure. Various activities help us boost our confidence.
Placements: There is no such great scope in the case of B.A. Honours Geography. If we pursue it at the Master's level, then we can hope for the higher placements, but thinking of getting a good placement at this level is not really thoughtful or actually true, so we should be realistic in this case.
Infrastructure: All appliances are well available in labs. We got new computer systems installed in the college, and everything is in good working condition. All the necessary items for our study and research are properly available in the college, which is great.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, highly knowledgeable, frank, and helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant even for the UPSC optional and all. If we want to pursue a career in geoscience, it's actually helpful to us. Semester exams are moderate and not that tough. Almost everyone manages to pass them.
Other: I chose this course because it is actually different and it's technical too, which gives us exposure to both science and the humanities. Various activities are held in the college. It celebrates fests, etc. Societies are wide-ranging and really great.

I would say it is a very satisfying college with good facilities, infrastructure, and academics.
Placements: The placements are offered in the course of geography and at a good rate by the organisation of the placement fest by the placement and internship cell of the college. Many companies participate, such as National Geographic, Infosys and Geoinformatics. Approximately 60% students are placed with 2 LPA to 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college does not have any hostel facility, but talking about the infrastructure of the college and the department of geography is very good. The department has computer labs with the best Wi-Fi connection and a separate library for geography students.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is highly qualified and has a very helpful nature, and gives their best to share their knowledge with the students. The department also has a fixed curriculum for the study of students, and the exams for the course are not that hard, easy to pass.
Other: The geography course provides a wide scope in research and Geoinformatics and helps in developing the career path. Many festivals and events are done with this discipline.

Review of Political Science from Shivaji College.
Placements: There's no placement as such for B.A. students specially. Maximum strength just opt for preparation of civil services, or prepare for higher studies like CAT, CUET-PG, etc. If you want to look for jobs, you will have to reach out to companies by yourself.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is still fine as compared to other Delhi University off-campus colleges. The classrooms and campus area are sufficient. The library has a planet of books to read from. But the college doesn't have its own hostel, so we have to look for rental flats or PG's.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful in all manner. They guide you through everything, and you can reach out to them about any problem. They are all well certified and qualified for the teaching. Exams happen only once per semester at the end of every semester. But, internals or class tests take place throughout the semester.
Other: Campus life is good if you are active. The campus is small for a college student, but still societies and clubs are active with consistent events. A yearly fest called Vibrations takes place around February-March. Many societies are also present, which you can join according to your interests which will help you explore and develop a social life. The sports complex is also quite big and is made separately from the college. The library is one of the biggest in Delhi University, and you'll never fall short of books to read.

Brief about Chemistry in Shivaji College.
Placements: Almost no placements are offered. Mostly, students either prepare to do their Masters or any higher studies, or they prepare for government exams. There is no on-campus placement for Chemistry, and as suggested by teachers, it is advised to do a Masters and then grab a placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of labs is very average. Not highly equipped Chemistry labs are there. Renovation is much needed as the main 2 labs are built old. One new lab is opened which is good enough. There are no hostel facilities offered by college so that's a major drawback.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful in all manners. They will guide you through everything, and you can reach out to them about any problem. They are all well certified and qualified for teaching. Exams happen only once per semester at the end of every semester. However, internals or class tests take place throughout the semester.
Other: Campus life is not the best but not bad either. The campus is quite smaller than you would expect for a college. A yearly fest called 'VIBRATIONS' takes place around February-March. Many societies are also present, which you can join according to your interests, helping you explore and develop a social life. The sports complex is quite big and made separately from the college. The library is one of the biggest in Delhi University, and you'll never fall short of books to read.

It has good infrastructure and average placements. There is no hostel.
Placements: 20 percent of students get placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, and ICICI Bank. Approximately 5-10 percent of students get internships in the above-mentioned companies. Roles like business development, the IT sector, data analytics, and software support are offered.
Infrastructure: Our college provides lecture halls, computer labs, Wi-Fi, sports, medical facilities, and a library. We get proper sports equipment. We have all sports grounds and fields, which are well-maintained. Average quality of food is served in canteens. We get good sports facilities and medical facilities free of cost.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good in both English and Hindi. I am maybe or maybe not sure about the course curriculum, but they follow a well-defined curriculum. Semester exams are not very difficult but highly scoring when students study regularly.
Other: I like the CS course, so I chose it. Projects and more tech should be improved. All events organised are above average, and approximately good. We have a good college experience.
