One of the best colleges for studying B.A.M.S. All facilities are available.

Placements: I am studying at Shri Gajanan Maharaj Ayurved Mahavidyalaya in Pusad, district Yavatmal, state Maharashtra. I am from batch 2021–2022. From this batch, we have a new syllabus pattern where we have new subjects like elective courses and the term is 1.5 years, so there will only be three terms from our batch.

Infrastructure: 1) A well-maintained library containing A–Z books. 2) A well-equipped and creative classroom with all facilities, like a projector, etc. 3) A library equipped with Wi-Fi and a computer for online studies. 4) Hostel rooms are quite good with a study table and also chairs for studying. 5) The bathroom is average. 6) Daily cleaning of rooms and bathrooms is done. 7) Mess food is like our home food; the catering service is just too good. 8) Every year, there is a sports week in college for students and other cultural activities as well.

Faculty: The teaching staff is so knowledgeable and supportive. They are well qualified and friendly, so you can ask any doubts. All teachers are good. Teaching is just the next level, and they expect extraordinary efforts from students to excel in exams. This course is very important for next year, as tomorrow will be the golden age for this field. Semesters are quite difficult. Through these exams, we really know where we stand in the class, and for this reason, we have to study a lot and hard. Our college has a 50% passing rate, as do all other B.A.M.S. colleges.

Other: Ayurveda is the ultimate, and today there is an enormous craze for ayurveda, where there are no drugs that can cause harm to patients.

Candidate shall have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, and shall have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. However, this has been a subject matter of challenge before the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Hon’ble High Court of Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, and Hon’ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Jabalpur. Result awaited candidates can also apply however such candidates does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.
