Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) accepts national or state-level entrance exams like MAT, JEMAT, and WBJEE for admission to its Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program. 

 The eligibility criteria for admission to the BCA program at SIT are: 

 The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics 

 The candidate must have passed English in the 10+2 examination with at least 30% marks

The students pursuing a course from the institute are open to scholarships provided by the West Bengal Government. West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation provides Post-Matric Scholarships and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. SIT offers eight courses at UG and PG levels, including BBA, BCA, MBA, etc. The courses are offered through five colleges/ departments, namely College of Engineering & Management, College of Professional Studies, College of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, College of Computer Application and SIT Diploma College.
