The college has good infrastructure, but placements are poor.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. About 45% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered ranges between 2.75-3.5 LPA. Mainly companies like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant visit our college to hire many students. I am from the mechanical engineering course, but maximum placements are from IT companies. Top roles, like software engineer, call centre, etc., are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The library is well-equipped with all genres of books. Labs are excellent and equipped with air-conditioners and comfortable chairs. Classrooms are available. Hostels are new and very clean. Quality of the food served in the mess and canteen is also good. Food served to the students is not as good as homemade food. There is an OPD in college. There is a sports section in college, but it is not well funded.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were okay. They all are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have a lack of skill in teaching. Their teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is decided by SGBAU. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready, so company gives 3 months training after placements.

Teachers give practical guidance. The practicals are taught with the help of computers & machines.

Placements: About 70% of the students get placed in the previous year. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top companies, like Wipro, TCS, IBM, BHEL, etc., offer their job to the students in Sipna College of Engineering and Technology. There is no internship provided in our college. Students have to do their internship on their own.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi is available for all the students for 24x7. Students can use the library for studies and audiovisual conception clearing. Classrooms are big enough and well arranged. The canteen of our college offers food at a reasonable rate.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well educated and are always ready to solve students problems. Teachers give practical guidance, and the practicals are studied with the use of computers and other machines like lathe machine, milling machine, etc. This course makes students industry-ready.

Other: I opted for this course because I was interested in this course from the 12th standard.
