Satisfied with college now it becomes autonomous .
Placements: From mechanical 5 to 10 members got selected but not in core branches in IT companies although placement ratio is always high from other colleges, the highest package of 12 LPA or more and min packages of 3.5 LPA capgimini and TCS are the company which gives placement to many students.
Infrastructure: Yes, there is hostel facilities available for out side students, good food quality gym is also available but only for hostel members all the things are available labs are so nice with the latest devices, clean surrounding, library available for all Wi-Fi is also available.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very good they taught all things clearly with taking example of surrounding and things which are related with us. Mechanical Engineering from Sb Jain by helps you to build your over-all skills. As it is semester pattern 80 mark paper is there and qualifying mark is 40.
Other: If you are thinking about engineering from Sb Jain than you must go with either CSE or EE or etc. For category wise scholarships are provided.

This college is good for studying engineering but not apt for placements for any engineering stream.
Placements: Only 40% of the students got placed from our batch, while only 20% of the students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 2.2 LPA. HCL, Wind World, Nice Software, Persistent and Apple (stores in Nagpur for sales jobs) visit here for placements. About 10% of the students got internships from college. Engineering trainee, software developer, etc., were some of the roles offered by companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility was not available during my tenure, but computer labs were available. Our college had a library and classrooms, but cleanliness on the campus was not maintained properly, especially in washrooms. The quality of the food available in the mess was awesome. Sports facilities such as a football ground, a swimming pool, etc., were available here.
Faculty: For some subjects such as heat transfer, thermodynamics, internal combustion engines, faculty members were excellent, while for other subjects, faculty members were decent enough. The teaching quality was above average for most of the subjects of the course. The course curriculum was outdated and not as per industry requirements.
Other: Events and annual fest organised here was the best part of the course.

Our college provides good faulty members.
Placements: Placement companies that visit our campus are BPO companies mostly. They lack in providing core industries. But the BPO companies good for computer engineering. Placements on campus are good because only BPO companies visit the campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of labs was good, and we had good classrooms. There was a good atmosphere in the classroom. The library on the campus was also good with good sitting arrangements. Many official books and unofficial books like novels for reading were available. The canteen served good and tasty food. There was a huge ground for playing sports. We also ha a basketball court and a swimming pool.
Faculty: The teaching staff of mechanical departments was excellent. All the teaching staff was holding PhD on their related field and had a vast knowledge about their field. Teaching staff members fulfilled the knowledge of students. They treated all the students equally.

The review of S B Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research.
Placements: The college only focuses on the placement numbers but not on the quality of the jobs offered here. A huge percentage of students get placed in our college. However, the companies that visit the campus to hire our students are not that good. The roles and packages offered by them are not that good. Even I got placed in 3 companies but never joined anyone of them. The students of the mechanical departments were not offered any technical roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the college needs to improve in lots of aspects. The food offered is good, and our classrooms are good. Our college also has a huge football ground. They need to provide the Wi-Fi facility. Even the washrooms can be improved a lot.
Faculty: Both the teaching and non-teaching staff are good here. We got a lot of help from them. Some of the faculty use misuse their powers, and they never support any other activities. There is no support for playing football or doing anything else apart from studies.
Other: Events organised on the campus were great, but the events can be improved by making it an inter-college event rather than leaving it as intra-college fest.

Teaching faculty members are excellent.
Placements: Placements in our college are excellent. This year, almost 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Around 100 companies including Byju's, Zaro and Tech Mahindra visited this year for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Classrooms and labs are in good condition. Medical facilities are provided here. Our college provides good Wi-Fi facility. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good. The college offers free facilities like Wi-Fi, library and sports.
Faculty: A few teachers here are good and well-qualified. They always give us pleasure. A few teachers have very good teaching quality. They explain the concepts by teaching through projectors. The course curriculum is very helpful. They also provide a lot of knowledge about society and the topis beyond the curriculum.
Other: The surroundings of the campus are excellent. Our college also provides bus facility.
