Students can choose the BCA course at the School of Management Sciences, Varanasi.

Placements: Placements are not offered by the college. It only focuses on the MBA course and provides them with a job in the sales domain. The highest package is 7.6 LPA for an MBA student. If students want to study and want a degree then only take admission in this college.

Infrastructure: There are no such facilities for UG courses. There are no air-conditioned classrooms and it is only given to PG courses. Wi-Fi is also not given to UG students. Labs are there but we can go there only in the labs period. It is just like a school.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and experienced. Almost all professors are PhD holders. The college is autonomous so they take the exam by themselves. Each semester has three exams, a mid-term test, an end-term test, and the main exams. Exams are not very tough, and we can easily get more than 7 SGPA if we study. The course is well-designed according to the current demand.

It is the best college you can find in Varanasi.

Placements: Students should be placed if they want placement, but students want to pursue MCA. That’s why the college invites fewer companies. The college invites companies that students are capable of cracking the interview with. And it depends on how many students want to sit for the interview.

Infrastructure: For our course, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are provided. Every day, we attend six classes, two in the library and lab, where we can practice coding. Our college offers sports like cricket, volleyball, and a gym. The hostel quality and canteen are good, but the mess could be improved.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach us using real-life examples, and with the help of projectors, the teaching quality is easy to understand. If students learn the language well, they will be industry-ready. It is compulsory to study well. Additionally, 75% attendance is mandatory.

Other: I chose this course to learn about computers and coding. It is helpful for the future. We will secure jobs in IT or management fields. In our college, there are campus events, first-campus crowd connectivity, and scholarships. Extracurricular activities are also happening.

Admission in sms is worthy or not?

Placements: The college is good for placement if are an MBA student but for other courses there are no placements offered. Some placements are in BBA also but only in sales. I have done BCA from SMS and in our class, no student got any kind of placement total number of students was 180.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of sms was good the environment was nice and you can study while sitting in the garden as well there is a canteen which is cost-effective and which food is good. Hostels are provided but it is some 5 km away from campus and a bus is required for hostel students.

Faculty: Teaching in sms is brilliant and professors are well qualified and many of them are Ph.D. holders. Colleges provide notes and all material for studies courses are designed in a good way sms is an autonomous college and has its own syllabus and organizes the exam on its own.

Teachers are well educated .

Placements: About 20 percent of students get placed every year. The highest salary package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is about 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, and Tata. From the BCA course about 10% of students secure internships in companies like Accenture and Tata.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, with all necessary facilities provided. The labs are well equipped, classrooms are comfortable, and the library has a vast collection of books. Food is served four times a day and while the quality is good, it is not exceptional. Every year a sports day is conducted for three days and activity days are held every month.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, providing excellent teaching. The curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready, but students must put in the effort to succeed. The exams are not very difficult and if you have studied you can easily score good marks.

Other: BCA is an excellent course to enter the computer science field, even with beginner-level knowledge. It offers numerous projects that enhance skills. Don't get into this college .

Placements: If you want placement after graduation, then this college is definitely not for you, because they don't provide any kind of placement. Even if by chance out of the blue any company comes, they just ghost students and leave. You’ll never know the results because the company ran away.

Infrastructure: I was a day scholar, but what I've heard from my friends is that the girls’ hostel is very bad. About infrastructure, oh my god, that is the worst. I still remember my first year. In that extreme heat weather, we were asked to sit on the top floor, and there were heat waves at that time. No ac. Management doesn't give a shit about students.

Faculty: Faculty is the worst. Almost none of them have any kind of knowledge about what they are teaching. They only confuse people. I still remember how APOORVA mam used to teach us something in a class that was completely different in another one on the same topic. About exams, since the college became autonomous, everything is in their own hands.

A decent college but search and see other colleges also.

Placements: Placement in this college is decent for post graduation students like for MBA the average placement was 5 - 6 Lacs. While the highest is 10 Lacs from mother dairy. And for UG course it is 1-2 Lacs I think. The placement for UG is low. But it very decent package for UG.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good as the college have more than 10 labs and also fully Wi-Fi campus but speed is not so high as required in short Decent sped. And the hostel is not so good as told my hostel friends because I am a day schlor but vey nice infrastructure but for hostel not recommended.

Faculty: Teaching is decent and good. Courses are pretty good also. The exam is very good because it is now autonomous so the exams are conducted in the college very nicely. It is not so difficult to pass semester as attendance and assignment play an important role. But major important is attendance.

Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in the MBA course, around 50-60% of students in the PGDM course, around 10-15% of students in the BCA course, around 10-15% of students in the BBA course, and around 20-30% of students in the B.Com course. Top recruiting companies were Infosys, HCL, Wipro, Aditya Birla, etc. Many companies visited our college and took personal interviews. They selected students based on their performance. The placement percentage was not good in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities and infrastructure for all courses. The library and the canteen were very good and well-maintained. Medical facilities, sports, and games were average.

Faculty: All teachers were helpful. They provided their best teaching experience to students. They gave their extra time to students after classes in their cabin to solve problems and doubts. Our course curriculum was relevant and made us industry-ready.

Other: I suggest to students if they are good at learning, do not opt for this college. I would recommend joining this college to other students. Our college should change the BBA course faculty members. It is a ragging-free campus.

It is an average college. But teachers are average only.

Placements: Only 1 or 2 students we're placed. The highest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.7 LPA. Amazon, Kotak, Gyan Fresh, HCL, Amrit, and Amul are the top recruiting companies. No one got any internship as there is no facility for internships. Roles offered are customer care executives, entry-level roles, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the reason that I chose this college. There are computer labs, a library, classrooms, a hostel, and canteens. Quality is good. But college doesn't run properly. Many people there don't know when sports will be organised as they don't convey messages.

Faculty: Teachers are not that much skillful. They study before teaching. They are not that much good teachers. Students don't get ready for industry by doing courses. Skills are not developed by completing course. The pass percentage is 40%. Semester exams are not difficult.
