Review of Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering.
Placements: 60-70 percent of students got internships. The minimum package offered is around 3 Lacs per annum, and the maximum package is around 13-14 Lacs per annum. Almost 70-80 percent of students who opted for placement get the placement by training and placement cell.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available for each and every lab in the college. The classrooms are big enough. There is no hostel affiliated with the college. But you can stay as paying guests in the nearby apartments. The canteen is decent, and the food served is better than average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All teaching staff are highly qualified and are Masters in their field. The teaching quality is good. The difficulty of the semester is medium to hard. The semester exams are held by Mumbai University. The passing percentage is around 60-70 percent.
Other: I opted for this course because of my personal interest in this field. There are many big events arranged by college, such as cultural event, tech fests, sports events, etc. The campus crowd is very friendly.

One of the best college I know.
Placements: The college placement was great. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc., hire students from our college. Students get an average package of 3.5 LPA, with the highest package being 11 LPA. The college also provides internships before our placement drive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good enough for students. We have six floors, and each floor is assigned to a particular engineering branch such as Electrical, IoT, Mechanical, AIDS, and AIML. Each floor has its own washrooms, drinking water, and the best facilities ever.
Faculty: The faculty was very great and had extensive experience in the teaching profession. The teachers have 20 to 25 years of teaching experience. The faculty helps each student individually, solving his or her doubts, and they are very intelligent. I loved the faculty.
Other: The crowd at the college is unbelievable. The college has an intake of 60 students for each particular branch.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college curriculum and even with the faculty members.
Placements: Hardly 20% students got placed last year. Highest package was offered was around 13LPA, not really sure of the lowest but it could be around 3-4 LPA. Top recruits were by TCS.Around 10-15% students got internships and some of them got it from outside the college. No special roles are offered, it just follows the rules of the Mumbai university and provides degrees, that's it.
Infrastructure: Labs are provided by the college but most of the PC's are useless. Wi-Fi is provided but no password is given. Classrooms are all tier 3 quality and there is only one library with no AC in the college. There is no hostel provided. Sports events are good but no sports equipments are provided. The events are good only because they are organized by the students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they do not give much pressure but don't even teach good. The curriculum of Mumbai university is the worst of all time. The semesters are difficult but the subjects and topics are useless and are not related to your course most of the times. Bro, don't take admission in Mumbai university, you better be at home and learn programming or any other good skill or crack MAANG because after taking admission in MU, I have lost all of my confidence and energy.
Other: The course I chose is the leading course and is relevant for future. The curriculum should be improved; events and activities should be conducted more and under a good budget.

My college life is good at this college, and you can find good friends.
Placements: The college is not that bad, but the placement is not much good. Teaching facilities are average. You can join this college if you want placements in Navi. Placements are given by the college. The college also offers internships, and you can contact the college staff for admission purposes.
Infrastructure: We don't have a hostel attached to the college, but the library is good and big. Labs are provided, and Wi-Fi is attached to the computers. The quality of food available is below average, and sports facilities are not that much good, but sports events are conducted every year.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are helpful and provide knowledge, but some have a lot of ego. They do not check assignments after the due date and keep you waiting for even 3-4 days just because that lady teacher wants to keep you waiting and waste your time.
