Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: Only 30 to 40 percent of students get placed. The highest package was around 7.5 Lacs per annum, the average was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. As I am in the 1st year of the AIML department, none of us is placed, and we have to lead our branch. Companies like Xorient, Primus, and Datamann visited the campus, and hardware branches like ECE, ECE, and Mech Civil have good opportunities compared to CSE and ISE, and competition is also high in those branches. The percentage of internships on and off campus may be around 40 to 50 percent.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good. Library facilities, gym, cafeteria, and sports facilities are great. Wi-Fi is also provided in the hostel, but it doesn't work sometimes. Labs are newly built and good. Classroom size is 60 to 70 per class. Our course and AIML department are very good, and our HOD is very supportive and encouraging. There is a temple and hospital located on campus, and 24/7 consultation services for students are free; you only have to pay for medicine. Hostel facilities are average; food is average, homely food. Three-sharing rooms are available with three members in one room.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful, and most of them are good. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. There is a skill program conducted, so you have to improve skills on your own, but the academic education is good. You can pass semester exams easily; teachers will guide you by giving important questions and a roadmap. The passing percentage is around 70 to 80 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I was always interested in AI, which is booming now. Don't blindly go for CSE and ISE. Choose core branches or AI-related branches. The future is AI nowadays. Things that need improvement may be skill development and technical development classes, more than academics and placement training, and placements should be improved. There are many events; the major one is Melanie's college fest. Kannada Habba, hostel day, and fun week. As it is located in a rural area, it's a bit difficult to explore, but decent for study purposes and provides a peaceful environment. Scholarships are provided by colleges for toppers and achievers in non-academic areas.
